History

Arrival and recruitment

Gojo arrives after Yuji consumes Sukuna's Finger and assesses the injured Megumi, Yuji, and Lin Mu. He confirms Yuji is Sukuna's vessel, orders Yuji to give Sukuna control for ten seconds, and easily handles Sukuna before forcing Yuji unconscious. 6

Following Yuji's death sentence, Gojo secures a suspended execution and brings Yuji, Lin Mu, and Megumi to Jujutsu High. He leads Yuji and Lin Mu to their entrance examinations and becomes especially interested in Lin Mu's unexplained abilities and Sharingan. 7 8 21

Jogo encounter

Jogo challenges Gojo in the countryside, believing his reputation has been exaggerated. Gojo remains unharmed by Jogo's lava attack, allows Lin Mu to gain battle experience, and later counters Jogo's domain with Unlimited Void. 22 24

Rather than immediately exorcising Jogo, Gojo interrogates him for information. Hanami rescues Jogo, and Gojo recognizes that the appearance of another special-grade cursed spirit signals a larger crisis. 24

Shibuya Incident and sealing

When the Shibuya Curtain descends on October 31, 2018, Gojo enters alone because the barrier specifically demands him. 90 Jogo, Hanami, and Choso exploit the packed subway station, using civilians to restrict Gojo's movement and prevent indiscriminate use of his strongest techniques. 91

Gojo and Lin Mu cooperate to protect civilians and eliminate transfigured humans after Gojo activates Unlimited Void for 0.2 seconds. Gojo kills over 700 modified humans while Lin Mu kills over 600, and Gojo comes to regard Lin Mu as a comrade rather than merely a student. 96
