Before he could wonder why he had become like this, crimson arcs of electricity burst from his body, driving his hands down hard onto the incoming red-and-blue greatsword.

The instant the two collided, the world collapsed... Dark clouds, storms, seas of fire, and every other natural disaster lost their original forms beneath that utterly destructive impact.

Like the sea of clouds ten thousand meters in the sky, they billowed and shifted without end; like colors on a painter's palette, they ran wild, boundless and formless... Golden lightning splashed outward like ink. The blue blooming across the greatsword gradually turned illusory and transparent, transforming into cyan aurora that merged with it. Then came a pure, vibrant green that radiated the brilliance of life, joining with the sword's destructive red to form sunlight.

Amid the collapsing world, that "sunlight" which stole all things from Reg's sight slowly fused with the other half of the greatsword, becoming a purple smear that enclosed him...
