"H-How could this be...?"

The Dumpling Priest's face looked as awful as if he had eaten shit. Even though he had read Crocodile's move, there was no way he could dodge it—his speed was nowhere near the spreading speed of the sea of sand.

In almost an instant, he was completely engulfed by the sea of sand. He had thought he was doomed, only to discover that the gaps between the grains were large enough that he would not suffocate.

Because the sea of sand spread too quickly, it was impossible for each grain of sand to be packed too closely together.

"Hasso hasso, so this move is just for show."

The priest waved his hands around, trying to brush away the irritating sand, but found it utterly useless. Like air, once one part was swept away, another would be drawn over by the disturbed airflow. It truly was a "sea of sand."

Since the sand did not affect him anyway, the priest simply ignored it and jumped down from the island cloud, intending to give Crocodile a vicious blow.

Crocodile curled his lips and gave a disdainful chuckle.

"Hmph... Sand Sea Coffin!"

He stretched out his right hand and clenched it hard. The scattered sand began converging on the Dumpling Priest at nearly the same speed. The yellow sand was like clay; once it stuck to the priest's body, he could not shake it off no matter how hard he tried.

The priest watched in terror as he was continuously buried by sand, yet there was nothing he could do. What did it matter if he had already read Crocodile's thoughts? Unless he had been outside the move's range from the start, there was nowhere to escape and nowhere to retreat.
