Bestowing Power

Just as Genzo was about to rush forward and perish together with Arlong, Nojiko called out from the sofa, "Nami's fine. She just fainted."

Genzo and Nojiko did not ask why. They simply carried Nami on their backs and headed home.

That night, inside a room at Arlong Park, Arlong lay bloodied on the floor. Before him stood a man in a black coat, gripping a three-foot-long sword. Drops of blood clung to the blade and fell to the ground.

Ye Feng picked up a large bag and coldly said to Arlong on the floor, "If what happened today ever happens again, every last one of you will die."

After saying that, he jumped out through the window.

When Ye Feng appeared again, he was at Nami's home. He quietly slipped inside without alerting anyone there.

He went straight to Nami's door, opened it, and silently walked in.

Seeing Nami unconscious on the bed with an ice pack on her head, Ye Feng quietly approached. At the bedside, he bent down and removed the ice pack from her forehead, placing it on the nearby table. Then he took off his black outer coat and set the sword in his hand aside as well.

Nami shook her head and hurriedly got out of bed. She discovered a book on the cabinet beside the bed, with the four words "Lingering Wave Steps" written on its cover.

Thinking that Nojiko had left it there, she curiously picked it up from the table. The moment she opened the first page, a small slip of paper fell out.

Nami picked up the small note from the floor and saw what was written on it.

"My dear Nami, when you see this note, I believe you will already be awake. I've helped you settle the matters in your village. Arlong and the others will not bully you again in the future. He will even protect you. Also, last night, I left the cultivation method I practice in your mind. Follow the secret manual on the table and cultivate it.
