After reaching an open area, Vice Admiral Verne turned to Ye Feng and said, "Come on, use your full strength. Let me see what you're capable of if you could kill Gral of the Hungry Wolf Pirates."

Ye Feng nodded and said, "No problem. Then be careful."

Ye Feng drew his three-foot sword from his back, flourished it, then raised it toward the sky and shouted, "Watch out! Ten Thousand Swords Art, Sword! Heaven-Slaying!"

Using his ultimate move right from the start was not exactly a clear-cut choice, but his opponent was a veteran vice admiral from Marine Headquarters. If he did not use a powerful move at the beginning, the fight would become difficult later on.

Vice Admiral Verne asked again, "Then do you have a girlfriend?" When Verne asked that question, Avril and Miranda beside him both perked up their ears and listened carefully.

Ye Feng answered honestly, "Not currently. But I don't think that question has anything to do with you, does it?"

Vice Admiral Verne finally looked a little embarrassed, but he had lived for decades. What storms had he not weathered? Why would he fear such a minor embarrassment? So he stared at Ye Feng again and asked, "Then what do you think of my daughter Miranda?"
