Kid showed no unusual emotion at the bloody scene on the ground.

That was because he himself was an extremely cruel pirate. Though he was also a Supernova, he was different from Luffy. Luffy had barely killed anyone since setting sail, but Kid would kill everyone who mocked him.

While he was not as bloodthirsty as Luo Ze, he was no good person either.

"Hmph. Killing Sword Luo Ze, it's time we settled our score properly."

Looking at Luo Ze ahead of him, Kid revealed a cruel smile. His eyes gleamed viciously as he walked slowly toward Luo Ze.

At the same time, the companions behind him, Zombie and Yasha, each drew their weapons and advanced toward Luo Ze.

"Planning to come at me three at once? Come on." Luo Ze merely smiled indifferently. Kid and the other two were only average in strength; whether they came together or not made no difference to him. He would win either way.

But Kid was an extremely arrogant man.

That much was clear from the original story: after spending only a short while in the New World, he had gathered a bunch of nobodies and dared challenge the Four Emperors.

Thus, in response to Luo Ze's faint smile, his gaze turned cold. He waved at Yasha and Zombie behind him, signaling for them to step back.

"Hmph, there's no need for you to act. I alone am enough to deal with this guy!"

Then, he controlled the weapons on the ground and launched them rapidly at Luo Ze.

"Seriously, this trick again? I'm already tired of seeing it."

Luo Ze curled his lip dismissively. If this was all Kid could do, then he did not want to waste any more time.

"Shave."

He suddenly shouted. The moment his voice fell, his figure vanished. When he reappeared, Luo Ze was already in front of Kid.

Luo Ze raised his longsword and brought it down in a high slash toward Kid.

"You're pretty fast."

Kid smiled carelessly and quickly reached out to grab Luo Ze's blade.

"But that little trick of yours is useless against me too."

As his words fell, a powerful repulsive force suddenly surged from Kid's palm. Luo Ze felt his sword become incomparably heavy, as though it were about to slip from his control.

"Hm?"

Luo Ze was somewhat surprised. He had never seen Kid possess this ability in the original story.

Still, he swiftly changed moves. With a flash, he appeared behind Kid and immediately thrust his sword toward him.

"It's useless. As long as you're using a sword, my ability can completely counter you."

Kid smiled smugly and casually twitched his fingers. A strange attraction suddenly emanated from his body, and Luo Ze felt his longsword being drawn toward Kid with frenzied force.

Yet just as the sword was about to pierce Kid, that strange repulsive force appeared around him again. No matter how hard Luo Ze pressed, he could not strike Kid's body.

"Hahahaha!" Kid laughed wildly as he casually controlled the weapons scattered across the area, launching a barrage of attacks at Luo Ze.

Luo Ze had no choice but to retreat several steps. He casually swung his sword a few times, easily destroying those weapons, but his expression turned somewhat grim.

He had not expected Kid's ability to counter him so thoroughly.

Although his strength and speed far surpassed Kid's, Kid was a magnet and could freely manipulate the weapons around him. Even Luo Ze's steel sword had fallen under Kid's control, making him extremely troublesome to fight.

Of course, Luo Ze could not do anything to Kid, but Kid could not do anything to him either. Kid could only use control over Luo Ze's steel sword to protect himself. As for his attacks, they were too weak to harm Luo Ze at all.

"I didn't expect that I'd underestimated you."

Luo Ze fell silent for a moment, gave Kid a deep look, and spoke slowly.

"Haha, Killing Sword Luo Ze, your swordsmanship could never defeat me from the very beginning. I'm a Magnet Man—your sword is under my control! So surrender!"

Kid laughed loudly. Their brief exchange before the auction house had continued to bother him, and now that he had regained his pride, he was naturally elated.

But Luo Ze had no intention of surrendering.

He assumed his stance, gripped his steel sword tightly with both hands, aimed it at Kid, and then swung.

"Blood Sword Form!"

Luo Ze swung with incredible speed. In less than a second, he slashed three or four times at Kid. Immediately afterward, three or four enormous crimson slashes flew wildly toward him.

Moreover, since the slashes contained not the slightest trace of metal, Kid could not defend directly with his ability as he had before. He could only pile up the weapons on the ground into a massive shield.

But Luo Ze's Blood Sword Form was incomparably sharp. Even after Kid gathered all the weapons from the dozens of pirates on the ground into a great shield, it could only withstand three of Luo Ze's slashes.

When the fourth slash fell, the pirates' weapons had been reduced to useless scraps that could shatter with a touch, completely unusable.

Kid himself was also sent flying several meters by Luo Ze's slash.

Thud!

Kid's face dragged across the ground like a mop, grinding against it without pause. His skin was scraped raw, leaving a trail of blood across the ground. Fortunately, he had kept some weapons in front of his chest, so Luo Ze's slash had not struck him head-on.

"Damn it!"

Kid's expression was extremely ugly. He had thought he could use the power of the Magnet Fruit to deal with Luo Ze, but he had not expected to lose to Luo Ze's slashes in the end.

This time, he had truly miscalculated.

And because Luo Ze unleashed his slashes at such terrifying speed, Kid had no way to catch them in the fraction of a second before they were released. He could only watch helplessly as Luo Ze attacked.

"Yasha, Zombie, get over here and help!"

There was no other way. Though Kid was incredibly arrogant, he understood now that he was no match for Luo Ze. He could resist the direct attacks of Luo Ze's steel sword, but he had no way to deal with these slashes. So, even if it was humiliating, he could only call for help from his subordinates.

"Attack!"

Hearing Kid's plea for help, Yasha and Zombie did not hesitate in the slightest and quickly launched their attacks at Luo Ze.

Zombie was able to breathe fire. He ran to Luo Ze's left and spewed a blast of red flames at him, as if even the air would be burned clean away.

Yasha, meanwhile, was incredibly fast. In the blink of an eye, he appeared on Luo Ze's right. Almost the instant Zombie's flames erupted, his attack arrived as well.

Attacked from both sides, Luo Ze had nowhere to dodge and could only take the attacks head-on.

But Luo Ze was no longer afraid. Without Kid holding him back, killing these two small fry was as easy as killing dogs.

With two casual swings of his sword, Luo Ze cleaved apart the flames and cut the two of them down!

PS: I've written five chapters, but there still aren't many favorites or votes. It feels like there's not much motivation to write! I can't even keep up with those authors who update one chapter at a time.
