In the spacious training ground, Luo Ze leaned against a white wall.
Opposite him stood a large group of pirate soldiers dressed in white Marine uniforms.
At that moment, the Marines wore all sorts of expressions. Some were nervous, some shocked, and some frustrated.
In the center of the grounds, a girl in a long black dress held a short sword as she sparred with Marine Sergeant Tashigi.
Both were highly skilled swordswomen, their techniques emerging one after another. However, the girl seemed to have the slight upper hand.
"Misfortune Blade!"
Ellie had just sent Tashigi flying with a strike. As Tashigi staggered back several steps, Ellie pressed her advantage, imbuing her cursed blade Snowblow with the power of misfortune before fiercely slashing at Tashigi.
"Rain Slash."
Tashigi refused to be outdone by Ellie's attack. After gathering herself for half a second, she poured all her strength into her sword and swung it fiercely, colliding with Ellie's blade.
Clang!
The two swords collided, sending sparks flying. Yet, to the surprise of all the Marines, Tashigi's move seemed to lack some force. After clashing with Ellie for only a few seconds, she was sent flying by the girl's strength, looking utterly disheveled.
"Sergeant Tashigi!"
Seeing Tashigi being continuously suppressed by a young girl left the Marines at the side dumbfounded. Many of them wished they could step in themselves, but lacking the strength to do so, they could only keep cheering Tashigi on.
Tashigi's expression was not much better. Even she had not expected that a dignified Marine sergeant would be suppressed by a little girl who looked no older than five. It was simply too humiliating.
"Time Rain Slash!"
