Luo Ze's voice was loud. Though his body was much smaller than Laboon's, the moment he shouted, the air around them trembled.
Laboon noticed Luo Ze as well. His large round eyes fixed on him, revealing a hint of interest.
Soon, an old man's voice sounded beside Luo Ze's ear.
"Who is it?! What are you making all that noise for?!"
Hearing the voice, Luo Ze felt a little pleased. He searched around atop Laboon's head for a while before finally spotting an old man dressed in red.
This man was Crocus.
"Don't be in such a hurry, old sir. Let me introduce myself first. My name is Luo Ze, and I'm a wanted criminal. I came here this time because I want to make a deal with you."
Luo Ze looked at Crocus and spoke with a smile.
"Hmph! Cut the nonsense. What could a pirate possibly have to trade with me? I'm just an ordinary old man."
Crocus merely shook his head indifferently. He gave Luo Ze a faint glance and spoke casually.
"Hehe, you're far from ordinary. A crewmate of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger." Seeing that Crocus had no intention of taking him seriously, Luo Ze chuckled and decided not to waste any more words.
"I know what happened to Laboon's companions, the Rumbar Pirates. But in exchange, I want the logbook from your voyage back then, as well as your medical notes."
At Luo Ze's words, Crocus's pupils contracted, and he stood frozen in place for a long while.
Laboon, however, clearly could not wait any longer. He let out a mournful "Woooo!", shaking the surrounding waves into a constant churn and making even Luo Ze feel uncomfortable.
"Don't get so worked up, Laboon. At this rate, this kid will be deafened to death
