At Nuoding Academy, Yu Xiaogang notices Tang San’s innate full soul power and Blue Silver Grass martial soul. He correctly suspects Tang San has twin martial souls, then repeatedly tries to claim him as a disciple despite Tang San choosing Tang Chuan instead. 2 3

Attempt to Recruit Tang San

Yu Xiaogang approaches Tang San at Nuoding Academy after recognizing the signs of twin martial souls. Tang San instead kneels before Tang Chuan and accepts him as master, while Tang Chuan reveals himself as a Spirit Emperor and knocks Xiaogang unconscious. 2

Yu Xiaogang continues trying to persuade Tang San by disparaging Tang Chuan’s guidance and questioning Tang San’s first soul ring. Tang San rejects him again, criticizing his unwillingness to manifest Luo Sanpao. 8

Wager Against Tang San

Yu Xiaogang challenges Tang San: if Xiaogang wins, Tang San must become his student; if Tang San wins, he receives Xiaogang’s storage belt and Gold Soul Coins. 9
