History

Yu Xiaogang leaves Nuoding Academy after failing to take Tang San as a disciple and being overshadowed by Tang Chuan’s teaching. He follows Flender’s recommendation letter to Shrek Academy, viewing its monster-only recruitment policy as an opportunity to cultivate powerful disciples. 11

Upon reaching Suotuo City, Yu Xiaogang finds Shrek Academy recruiting students. Li Yusong initially makes him wait outside until registration is complete, but permits him to meet Flender after recognizing Flender’s handwriting on the recommendation letter. 22

Flender welcomes Yu Xiaogang and asks him to remain at the academy. Yu Xiaogang agrees to contribute to Shrek Academy and immediately seeks a disciple; Flender supports his recruitment of Dai Mubai. 23
