Kushina Uzumaki skipped into the residence. Chiyu turned and headed toward his new home, his good mood making his steps much lighter.

After entering the residence, Kushina Uzumaki saw Mito Uzumaki sitting in a chair. She happily called out, "Grandma Mito, I'm back!"

Kushina Uzumaki threw herself into Mito Uzumaki's arms.

Mito Uzumaki lovingly stroked Kushina Uzumaki's red hair. "Why are you so happy today? Let me guess. Chiyu was discharged from the hospital, and he became friends with you, right?"

Shyly, Kushina Uzumaki buried her head in Mito Uzumaki's arms and answered in a muffled voice, "Yeah."

Mito Uzumaki smiled warmly. "Tell Grandma Mito how the two of you became friends."

Kushina Uzumaki told Mito Uzumaki what had happened.

Mito Uzumaki's expression became increasingly affectionate.

"So Chiyu was the one who took the initiative. Since you agreed to be friends for life, the two of you must always get along well."

Kushina Uzumaki nodded firmly. "Yeah, I definitely will!"

Over the following days, Chiyu and Kushina Uzumaki were almost inseparable, going to school together and leaving school together every day.
