Looking for Trouble

Happy times were always short.

After Chiyu and Kushina Uzumaki wandered around Konoha for a while, night fell quickly.

After reluctantly seeing Kushina Uzumaki back to her residence, Chiyu headed alone toward Orochimaru's underground base.

He had not been home in so long that it was surely covered in dust. Having to clean just to stay for one night was too troublesome, so Chiyu simply returned to the base.

As Chiyu walked, he recalled his earlier conversation with Mito Uzumaki.

Chiyu could actually sense that Mito Uzumaki regarded him as a junior.

But Chiyu could not bring himself to regard Mito Uzumaki as an elder.

No matter how much Mito Uzumaki loved Kushina Uzumaki, it did not change the fact that she had wanted to hurt Kushina Uzumaki for Konoha's sake.

And Mito Uzumaki's ability to sense malice was far too troublesome for Chiyu.

It meant that whenever he lied, Mito Uzumaki would know immediately.

Was there any way to deceive Mito Uzumaki?

Chiyu considered the situation in his mind, trying to find a way to deal with it.

Just as Chiyu was deep in thought, two figures blocked his path.

Chiyu looked up, his brows furrowing.

The Uchiha Clan crest. They were members of the Uchiha Clan.

"Yo, who's this? Isn't this Uchiha Chiyu?"

"What Uchiha Chiyu? He doesn't even have the Uchiha surname. He's nothing but a bastard."

"Hahaha, right! Look at me, I forgot!"

The two Uchiha openly mocked and ridiculed Chiyu.

Chiyu's face darkened. He did not want to bother with the two of them, so he tried to go around.

But the two Uchiha blocked him from the front and back.

"Why are you in such a hurry to leave? Did we hit a sore spot?"

"Were we wrong, bastard?"

Chiyu said darkly, "Can you get lost?"

Hearing Chiyu tell them to get lost, the two Uchiha laughed even harder.

Uchiha Yuto, standing in front of Chiyu, immediately reached out to shove him.

Chiyu directly grabbed Uchiha Yuto by the wrist.

Though Uchiha Yuto was older than Chiyu, Chiyu had undergone grueling training, and his strength greatly surpassed the other's.

As Chiyu gradually tightened his grip, Uchiha Yuto's expression twisted horribly.

"Let go! Let go!"

Chiyu ignored him and continued applying force.

Seeing that something was wrong, Uchiha Kazuma, standing behind Chiyu, threw a punch at the back of Chiyu's head.

Without even turning his head, Chiyu delivered a backward kick that sent Uchiha Kazuma flying.

Chiyu still held Uchiha Yuto's wrist.

Chiyu lowered his gaze slightly, not even looking at Uchiha Yuto. "Can I tell you to get lost now?"

Uchiha Yuto's face twisted viciously. Even though Chiyu's grip on his wrist was agonizing, he refused to yield.

"You're nothing but an abandoned child of our Uchiha Clan, a bastard! What gives you the right to talk to me like that? Die!"

Uchiha Yuto pulled out a Kunai with his left hand and thrust it straight at Chiyu's head.

"Too slow."

Chiyu tilted his head, and Uchiha Yuto's Kunai stabbed empty air.

Chiyu lifted his leg and drove his knee brutally into Uchiha Yuto's abdomen.

"Cough!"

The intense pain in his abdomen nearly made Uchiha Yuto's eyeballs pop out, and the Kunai in his hand fell to the ground.

Still holding Uchiha Yuto's wrist, Chiyu followed up with an elbow strike to the head.

Dazed, Uchiha Yuto staggered back a few steps before falling to the ground.

"Yuto!"

Uchiha Kazuma hurried forward and helped Uchiha Yuto up.

Uchiha Yuto wiped the corner of his mouth and glared at Chiyu hatefully. "Kazuma, let's take him together and teach this piece of trash a lesson!"

Uchiha Yuto threw several Shuriken at Chiyu.

Chiyu instantly drew the Longsword at his waist. A flash of steel cut down every one of Uchiha Yuto's Shuriken.

Uchiha Yuto and Uchiha Kazuma both pulled out Kunai and rushed at Chiyu.

But in the blink of an eye, Chiyu vanished before them.

"What? The Body Flicker Technique?"

"Where is he?"

A voice that made their scalps tingle rose from behind them. "It's not the Body Flicker Technique, just pure speed. I told you, you're too slow!"

Chiyu mercilessly struck Uchiha Yuto's right arm, the one holding the Kunai, with the back of his blade.

Uchiha Yuto's right arm instantly bent at an unnatural angle. It was completely broken.

"Ah!"

Uchiha Yuto screamed and curled up on the ground, clutching his arm as he rolled around.

Then Chiyu grabbed Uchiha Kazuma's right arm from behind, the one holding the Kunai, and kicked the back of his knee, forcing him to his knees.

Chiyu planted his right foot on Uchiha Kazuma's back while keeping hold of his right arm with his other hand.

Chiyu said softly, "One of Konoha's rules is that you must never attack a comrade. You attacked first, and you even used Kunai. So breaking one arm each in self-defense is perfectly reasonable, isn't it?"

To Uchiha Kazuma, Chiyu's voice sounded like a demon whispering in his ear.

Uchiha Kazuma begged in terror, "No, don't!"

Chiyu ignored Uchiha Kazuma. He pressed down with the foot on Uchiha Kazuma's back, and an ear-splitting crack sounded as Chiyu forcibly broke Uchiha Kazuma's right arm.

Like Uchiha Yuto, Uchiha Kazuma clutched his broken right arm and rolled around on the ground.

Chiyu looked coldly down at them. "You're really weak, Uchiha Clan. Heh."

Uchiha Yuto still looked unwilling to accept it even after Chiyu had broken his arm. He glared at Chiyu with venomous eyes and threatened, "The Uchiha Clan won't let you off!"

Chiyu shook his head, his eyes filled with disdain. "You two are already sixteen or seventeen, right? Yet even after I broke your arms, neither of you awakened the Sharingan. Is it because you haven't awakened it?

"If all members of the Uchiha Clan are as worthless as you two, then I really have nothing to worry about when you come looking for trouble."

Uchiha Yuto and Uchiha Kazuma's pale faces flushed slightly. Just as they were about to retort, they saw an unbelievable sight.

Chiyu activated his Sharingan. His scarlet eyes looked at the two of them, and a smile curled across his lips. "To be fair, the Uchiha Clan's Sharingan is quite useful."

Just as Chiyu was about to turn and leave, he suddenly stopped. Looking back at them, he said, "Oh, right. As the Konoha Military Police Force, don't you Uchiha Clan members love pinning crimes on people?

"I'll be waiting. Remember to come find me. I'll be waiting for you at Teacher Orochimaru's base. Don't tell me you don't know Teacher Orochimaru. Go back and ask the other Uchiha Clan members, and you'll find out."

Uchiha Yuto and Uchiha Kazuma naturally knew who Orochimaru was, one of Konoha's Legendary Sannin.

They had not expected that Chiyu had not only awakened the Sharingan that neither of them possessed, but had also become the disciple of Orochimaru, one of the Legendary Sannin.

Chiyu looked at the wretched pair, snorted, called them "two idiots," and walked away.
