Dole was somewhat dazed. Was this what a higher world was like? The power contained within the world alone was this terrifying?
All at once, he began to look forward to the powers of other higher worlds. If they all possessed such lofty powers, wouldn't his progress be much faster?
What he first needed to understand now was: what were laws? If he could obtain the condensed form or cultivation method of some law, he could become a high-level Wizard as soon as possible. That was the most pressing problem at present.
He stared unblinkingly at the gate before him, carefully observing the world beyond it, having long since cast everything else to the back of his mind.
The next moment, something dark emerged from beyond the gate. It was some sort of creature—like a goatman among humanoids—a hairless monster that stepped out from within. It held a spear in its hand and simply walked lightly out from behind the gate.
When he saw this creature, Dole saw countless rules upon its body. These rules seemed to be arranged in an extraordinarily equal manner, forming an even more powerful chain, countless times stronger than chains of rules, coiling around its body.
