The Divine Mountain at Sea was already close at hand. Aphelius felt slightly more at ease. He glanced at Dole, breathing hard as he tried to recover his strength.

I hope magic isn't forbidden inside the divine mountain. Otherwise, I'll truly have no fighting power. I rely entirely on witchcraft; I'm not a true dual cultivator of magic and body.

What a tragedy.

Dole, on the other hand, was remarkably calm. He looked around, then at the sky, then at the mist-shrouded divine mountain ahead. A glimmer of brightness appeared in his eyes.

The farther forward they went, the more he sensed something abnormal about the spatial laws around them. Could this place be some spatial-type divine artifact or divine spark?

That made him rather eager.

From then on, he did all the rowing, pushing the boat all the way to the foot of the divine mountain, stopping roughly three hundred meters away. The way had been shrouded in mist and comparatively dark shadows, making the mountain itself impossible to see. Only upon drawing close did they discover that there was no crack here at all.

The divine mountain was seamless and whole. No fissure could be found on its enormous, towering body, so there was no way to enter from here. But they had the general direction right. After discussing it, the two decided to search to the left and right along the stone that seemed to be one solid piece, looking for the crack.

Dole looked to either side. His Eye of Magic flashed briefly, signaling that they should go left first.

Aphelius glanced around and raised no objection. He took the oar and began rowing left.

After rowing for just over six hundred meters, they saw a thin black line stretching across the seamless mountain ahead.
