Those creatures ran incredibly fast. Dole was left reeling from the impact, and before he could even catch his breath, they were upon him again.

Dole hurriedly took the chance to inspect himself. There was no major problem.

That strike had looked powerful, but it had not actually caused any damage. It had not even broken through his defenses; he merely looked rather disheveled. All the force had been absorbed by the magic shield around him, leaving him with nothing more than churning blood and qi.

Dole landed on the ground and dusted himself off. Watching the two strange-auraed creatures charge toward him, he brought his hands together before his chest. A massive wind blade three meters long formed in front of him. On closer inspection, it was two wind blades layered atop one another, their wind currents at the tips flowing in opposite directions to form the perfect cutting posture.

This was a sixth-level wind spell, Windflow Severing.

With a push forward, the spell instantly split into dozens of Windflow Severings that slashed toward the two creatures.

The two creatures seemed not to know the meaning of fear at all and continued charging forward.

The Windflow Severings swept over their bodies, throwing up showers of sparks. One or two of the stronger currents carved deep wounds into them, splitting their flesh open as streams of purple blood poured out.

Dole froze at the sight. What powerful bodies. They would make excellent research material.

The two monsters felt pain, but by then they had already rushed before Dole.

Dole adjusted the spell's intensity and direction. With a flick of both hands, he released Windflow Severing once more. He wanted to see just how powerful these creatures' bodies truly were.
