Dole finished reading all the materials in just five days.
What he saw left him deeply shaken.
The reason black wizards were called black wizards was that they placed little value on the lives of others. No morality or law could restrain them. Most black witchcraft targeted the body and mind of living creatures, cruel beyond measure and horrifically efficient at killing. It could be said that much black witchcraft had been created solely to mutilate and destroy living beings.
Dole felt heavily burdened.
After finishing his research, he left the wizard tower and contacted Usbur. He needed to visit the Maze World and acquire some soil from the primordial world. The Silicon-Based Creature was close to success, but it now lacked the necessary energy.
Usbur had remained stationed at the Glory Wizard Alliance headquarters, maintaining the operation of all the spatial devices there.
Upon receiving Dole's message, Usbur was thrilled. He had thoroughly digested Dole's work during this period. At last, Dole had come again.
Within the valley, a circular magic array in the plaza ran without pause. It gave off a mysterious white glow, waves of spatial fluctuations spreading outward as though it had locked onto the depths of the world and connected to something unknown.
Usbur stood before the magic array.
Just then, Dole's avatar walked in from outside.
Usbur greeted him with a smile. "You're a busy man now, yet you still have time to come here. Teacher mentioned what you've been doing a few days ago. I could hardly believe it."
Dole stepped forward with a faint smile. "Greetings, Councilor Usbur. I am indeed busy. The northwest is too chaotic, so I have to help keep an eye on things. Only lately, with the heavy snow in the north, have things eased up a little."
