Ruger touched the handsome curved horns atop his head again. With this appearance and these horns alone, he probably did not need the imposing aura emitted by Mental Boil to frighten off ordinary people and some ignorant low-level apprentices.
He clenched his fists. With Demon Body and Strength of the Savage Bull layered together, his strength seemed to have increased considerably as well.
The changes brought by the Demon Skin Spell were even more interesting. He lightly scratched his arm with his newly sharpened nails. The change in his skin did not seem particularly significant, but upon closer inspection, it had already largely departed from the scope of the original spellcasting material, shedding the appearance of that piece of demon hide that had belonged to the barbarian demon. Its reaction with Demon Body had already caused it to undergo an unknown transformation.
Then there were the spiral patterns winding across his body. Those strange and beautiful designs became extraordinarily distinct whenever Foul-Smelling Skin was cast, as though traced over in heavy ink, and they too seemed to be undergoing unknown changes.
Lesser Sharpness did not seem to have changed much, but it had become easier than before to cast on every part of his Demon Body.

If the concept behind this modification was mutual change between the two, the mutual adaptation between himself and the Demon Body spell, then its connection with Foul-Smelling Skin was understandable. Once a spell had been fixed in place, it was already equivalent to a part of him—just like those strange beasts and Giant Dragons that instinctively mastered spell-like abilities upon reaching a certain age.
