A Mushroom Man hurried over, climbed onto a raised platform, and blew a horn with one hand while hastily posting the king's summons with the other.
The Mushroom Men who had been strolling immediately grew agitated. Some dropped their baskets; others swallowed breakfasts they had only nibbled a corner from and had clearly intended to savor.
