The Wizards of the Foreign God Oversight Council standing before the tower all froze for a moment, inevitably lost in thought at the sight.
Only Wizard Zorn wore a faint smile, his expression unchanged throughout.
"My lords, you may call me Badong."
The old Wizard lay prone on the ground with his head raised. His half-white hair was disheveled, and he looked utterly bedraggled, yet his eyes were bright. Together with the smile on his face, they gave him the air of a wise and venerable Wizard.
"Then, Master Badong, what do you want?"
The stubbled Wizard of the Foreign God Oversight Council looked at the old Wizard as he spoke.
"Pure blood from a demigod. It must be absolutely pure, with all divine characteristics and potential dangers removed. Also, the stomach sac of a lesser god. As far as I know, not many gods have stomach sacs, hehehe, but I only need a portion. A tiny piece will suffice, and it must be purified as well. Then there's the Keth Stone..."
The old Wizard listed his requests clearly, at an even pace. He had plainly thought them through.
His apprentice Flett stood beside him, dumbfounded. Only when the old Wizard mentioned some of the later items did his expression shift slightly.
Ruger guessed that some were things the apprentice could use, while others were part of the old Wizard's plans for himself, intended to break free of his stagnation as a One-Ring Wizard.
"Very good, Master Badong. You've given me a pleasant surprise. I'm looking forward to trading with you more and more. None of the materials you've requested exceed the third ring, so I can agree to all of them," the Wizard with the scar on his chin suddenly said. With a movement of his hand, he produced
