A bold kobold?
An agreement?
A string of thoughts flooded his poor, already muddled brain in an instant, as though his intangible thoughts were physically exploding. An agreement-yes, that woman had spoken of many agreements through that perpetually smiling mouth. There were many he knew nothing about, but they had to be connected to everything before him. The first agreement he had learned of was that this lady could not leave that monotonous bedroom at will. Yet now she had left, silently and so boldly, and stood here.
That alone was enough to prove this was permitted by the agreements. The time had come when she could leave. This was part of the agreement.
Ruger's furry canine head buzzed with exhaustion, surprise, and the influence of his teacher's teacher standing before him.
She had always been like this. Only this time, he had prepared a little surprise for his teacher's teacher-a little surprise that had shocked even him.
He remembered saying before that some of Lord Soldrich's ideas were a little too bold, despite his belonging to the same Demon Wizard lineage. But now it seemed a kobold's courage was no joke either. He had fangs too. After all, he had frightened even himself this time, though he still had not figured out the full picture.
But that clearly made it all the more interesting-something interesting that could proceed normally even with his memory lost.
As for now, since he had already lost his memory, he would be a proper amnesiac kobold.
He would leave everything to his self from two years ago without worry. Though there was still much he did not understand, he trusted that his past self would not harm his present self. Whatever could be considered must already have been considered.
