Cynthia attended Durmstrang, where she met Tver during their first year. She was known to have held the school's second position and remained close to him while he pursued unusually dangerous Dark-magic research; his willingness to discuss that research with her reassured her that it had not corrupted him. 64 65

By Christmas of Tver's first Hogwarts year, Cynthia was living with and caring for Gellert Grindelwald in a Muggle neighborhood.
