After Zenin Xuan died, Yuji used Rika and the cursed energy he left behind to restore the destroyed city, then vanished. Zenin Xuan let go of his obsession with survival and continued through the soul passage with Little Mo.

• Zenin Xuan encountered an older version of himself, who warned him not to go to the Zenin Clan and to suspect Kenjaku without making him an enemy.
• Shoko Ieiri and Kenjaku transferred Sukuna into another body, and Jujutsu High celebrated their victory while Kenjaku escaped.
• Zenin Xuan died at the Tokyo barrier, leaving his cursed energy to Yuji, who used Yuta Okkotsu’s ring and Rika’s Copy technique.
• The city began to return to normal, and Yuji vanished after silently telling Satoru Gojo that he was leaving.
• Sukuna recalled meeting Kenjaku-Xuan and confirmed that he had found Zenin Xuan’s weakness.
• Zenin Xuan gave his cursed energy to Yuji, let go of his fixation on staying alive, and walked onward with Little Mo past Mahito.

Sukuna identified Zenin Xuan’s arrogance as a weakness, prompting Kenjaku to devise a new plan. At Jujutsu High, Xuan taught Tsumiki Fushiguro, Megumi Fushiguro, and Yuji Itadori how to use Cursed Techniques, leaving Megumi stuck wearing an armored puppet they had built.

• Sukuna told Kenjaku that Zenin Xuan’s refusal to retreat or guard against combination attacks was his weakness.
• Kenjaku discarded his fourth planning notebook, retrieved the first, and began writing a new plan.
• Sukuna decided to go to the beef shop, claiming he only wanted to eat.
• Xuan taught Tsumiki Fushiguro, Megumi Fushiguro, and Yuji Itadori about the versatility of Cursed Techniques while Gojo dealt with the surge of Cursed Spirits in Tokyo.
• Tsumiki and Itadori used Construction and Blood Manipulation to make an armored puppet, and Megumi objected to wearing it.

Xuan discovered that Reggie Star could use Contractual Re-creation to produce items and points promised in written agreements, even when they did not yet exist. After testing the technique, Xuan had Reggie recreate a stockpile of Cursed Tools, and Reggie exhausted his Cursed Energy.

• Xuan showed Reggie the Culling Game countdowns for players marked as not participating.
• Xuan wrote an agreement to lend Reggie 100 points, and Reggie burned it to receive the points without Xuan losing any.
• Xuan gave Reggie purchase orders for 800 meters of Black Rope and several Cursed Tools, along with copies of Toji Fushiguro's contracts.
• Xuan asked Reggie to recreate a Hollow Purple that Satoru Gojo had fired as part of a paid agreement.
• Reggie used up all his Cursed Energy, while Xuan returned to Jujutsu High's underground training ground with Black Rope and several Cursed Tools.

Zenin Xuan coordinated with Jujutsu Society to protect players who had not entered the Culling Game, while Kenjaku searched for a cursed technique that could defeat Xuan. Kenjaku learned that twelve players remained outside the barriers and set out to find them disguised as Xuan.

• Zenin Xuan contacted Yaga and Gakuganji after obtaining points from Reggie, and arranged for Jujutsu Society to guide remaining players into the barriers.
• Zenin Xuan and Satoru Gojo prepared to gather jujutsu sorcerers across the country and identify players among them.
• Kenjaku reviewed cursed techniques and simulated battles, but he had never managed to defeat Zenin Xuan, even with Sukuna's help.
• Kenjaku asked Kogane bug how many players had not entered the Culling Game and learned that twelve remained.
• Kenjaku decided to search for the twelve players while wearing Xuan's face.

Maki returned to the Zenin Clan and found Naoya alive after Kenjaku’s treatment had left him physically altered and weakened. After Naoya attacked her, Maki easily subdued him as she continued approaching the full power of the Heavenly Tyrant.

• Maki returned to the Zenin Clan while Xuan and Satoru Gojo searched Japan for sorcerers and curse users.
• Satoru Gojo told Maki that Naoya had recovered and was demanding another fight with her.
• Maki found Naoya with a shrunken body and no sexual characteristics after Kenjaku had altered him to save his damaged soul.
• Naoya attacked Maki, but she grabbed him by the neck and overpowered him.
• Maki’s cursed energy continued to be absorbed by the Scepter as she moved closer to completing her Heavenly Restriction.

Xuan and Satoru Gojo confronted Kenjaku while searching for Players, and forced him to make new Binding Vows restricting his actions. As news of Jujutsu spread worldwide and Cursed Spirits multiplied, Jujutsu High tried to contain the panic by telling the internet that Cursed Spirits would only appear in Tokyo.

• Kenjaku visited Haruta Shigemo in the countryside and discovered that Xuan had been waiting there in disguise.
• Xuan confronted Kenjaku over the Binding Vow and accused him of releasing dangerous Cursed Spirits.
• Satoru Gojo arrived, cornering Kenjaku with Xuan.
• Kenjaku made Binding Vows not to release Cursed Spirits that endangered society or harm Players, then escaped.
• Satoru Gojo helped Haruta Shigemo register as a Player, while he and Xuan dealt with Curse Users they encountered.
• As Jujutsu news spread and Cursed Spirits appeared worldwide, Jujutsu High spent heavily online to claim they would only appear in Tokyo.
