Yu Ci helped Murong Qingyan and Meng Wei survive Nan Songzi’s attack, then pursued talisman and spiritual cultivation as Nan Songzi’s lingering threat returned. After breaking through and accepting a mission to Juebi City, Yu Ci arrived amid the Xuan Yin Sect’s celebrations and learned Crimson Yin planned to settle an old score before leaving.

• Yu Ci sent Baoguang to summon help as Nan Songzi attacked Murong Qingyan at South Frost Lake, where Meng Wei joined the fight and Yu Ci’s Five Thunder Talisman disrupted Nan Songzi’s arts.
• Tao Rong impersonated herself to steal the Great Cave True Talisman, but Crimson Yin revealed the deception, forced Nan Songzi’s body to explode, and returned the talisman to Murong Qingyan.
• Yu Ci practiced talisman apertures and the Xuan Yuan Gen Ben Qi Fa with Xie Liang, who helped him understand his mind image while they investigated a demon connected to Nan Songzi.
• Nan Songzi’s weakened Yin Spirit attacked Yu Ci, but the Zhaoshen Bronze Mirror destroyed Nan Songzi’s Yin demon and absorbed its remaining blood Qi.

Yu Ci’s fish-dragon, talisman arts, and Zhaoshen Bronze Mirror drew him into the struggle that destroyed Bai Ri Mansion and killed Jin Huan. After the battle left Yu Ci unconscious, he fought to keep hold of the mirror and pursue Xie Yan with his Yin spirit.

• Yu Ci arrived at Bai Ri Mansion with Li You, refined the Dao Scripture Master Treasure Seal, and fought Xie Yan before agreeing to raise a fish-dragon for the Treasure Exchange Banquet.
• As the banquet approached, Zhao Ziyue tried to buy Yu Ci’s fish-dragon, and Xie Yan learned that the Golden Bone Jade Disc had gone missing from the Suixin Pavilion.
• Shi Song’s arrival reignited his feud with Jin Huan, and Jin Huan fled the banquet as the four sects attacked Bai Ri Mansion.
• Yu Ci mastered the Zhaoshen Bronze Mirror’s starlight and used it to track Tu Du, who attacked Tianyi Tower with the Void Heart Demon Spider Shadow Curse.
• Yu Ci struck Tu Du’s body beneath Dan Cliff with stellar power, killing him, while the battle continued across Juebi City.
• Crimson Yin erased the Shadow Puppet, then destroyed Jin Huan’s Golden Stone Flow with the Blade Sacrifice Method and killed him.

Yu Ci survived the battle with Crimson Yin and the True Person’s Yang God, then served his punishment at the Mountain-Moving Cloud Boat docks while cultivating and investigating demonic activity. After a beast tide brought fiends to the mountain, Elder Zhu offered him something better than the Breath-Light Evasion Technique.

• Yu Ci returned to Juebi City, where Crimson Yin ambushed him with the Moon Demon, and Xie Yan, Xie Liang, Yu Zhou, and Aunt He helped defeat the attackers.
• Yu Ci killed Crimson Yin after recovering the Zhaoshen Bronze Mirror, but Minglan used Great Illusory Translocation as the True Person’s Yang God transformed into a spreading gray mist.
• Xie Yan led Yu Ci and the others through the mist, and Yu Ci used sword intent to repel yin demons before He Qing assigned him a year of labor at the docks.
• Yu Ci met the arriving cultivators, began practicing the Void Assimilation Method, and used the Zhaoshen Bronze Mirror to observe the Lake and Sea Wanderer while deciding not to probe Chu Yan.

Yu Ci survived the ghost beast and a collapsing spatial breach, then reunited with Gan Shizhen and escaped with her. Traveling toward Juebi City with You Gongquan’s hunting party, he uncovered a betrayal and fought back against the ambush.

• Yu Ci confronted the ghost beast, endured its pursuit through the Gang Wind Belt, and discovered the spatial breach beneath the mountain.
• Yu Ci explored the breach, learned the source of the destructive tide was burning jade-like blood, and drove the ghost beast away with the golden threads of his hook-and-cable.
• Yu Ci escaped the breach and met Gan Shizhen, then worked with her to defeat the ghost beast and turn the Rakshasa Illusory Power against Ba Shi.
• Yu Ci carried the unconscious Gan Shizhen out of the collapsing rift and escaped on a large bird before the mountain fell.
