Background

Born to a mistress in the patriarchal Shinomiya Family, Kaguya grew up beneath three older brothers and expected that her future would amount to managing insignificant companies or being used in a political marriage. This upbringing taught her to immediately recognize and secure anything valuable, prompting her to write in the mysterious Diary shortly after receiving it. 3

The Diary exposes details of her original story and future, including a version of herself who becomes consumed by romance, abandons inheritance disputes, and wishes to become a photographer.
