Background

Tohru grew weary of the endless conflict between gods, dragons, and humans in her native world. Unable to escape the obligations imposed by her position as the End Emperor's daughter, she challenged the gods alone. She was defeated and left dying after being impaled by a gods-forged Dragonslaying Holy Sword. 146

Miyauchi Hiyage and Honma Meiko encountered her during their journey through another world. Initially hostile and distrustful of Hiyage, Tohru nonetheless permitted Meiko to attempt to remove the sword. Divine resistance and lightning prevented Meiko from succeeding, but Hiyage ultimately destroyed the sword's restraint and freed Tohru. 134 135

After regaining her freedom, Tohru transformed from her emerald dragon form into a human girl and asked to accompany Hiyage and Meiko to their world. She accepted Hiyage's temporary arrangements on the condition that she could conceal her aura and avoid attention from local supernatural factions. 136 137

Appearance

Tohru's true form is a massive emerald-green dragon. In human form, she first appears as a golden-haired girl slightly shorter than Miyauchi Hiyage when accounting for her horns, initially wearing a simple brown robe. 136
