The Agitated Seventh Tiers

At the herders' homeworld altar, the Lord of Servants stood before a towering altar torch, staring into the flames as though he could see something within them.

On the platforms flanking the fire, intelligent species after intelligent species were cast into the torch from above. Amid their shrill screams, the flames burned ever more fiercely.

Suddenly, the Lord of Servants paused, then returned to normal and issued orders to the subordinates waiting silently behind him.

"Amiba's Great Destruction is about to arrive. Go make preparations and see whether there is anything valuable in the ashes left after their destruction."

"Yes!"

Having received their orders, the subordinates scattered like birds and beasts, leaving only the Lord of Servants' trusted confidant behind.

At this point, the sacrifice could be said to have ended. The Lord of Servants and his confidant strolled around the torch as they discussed Amiba.

"That Amiba race actually triggered the Great Destruction? How tragic. I thought they could evade destruction. After all, their scale was so enormous; if they were going to be destroyed, it should have happened long ago."

His confidant spoke to the Lord of Servants in a tone of surprise.

The Lord of Servants stopped because of this. After thinking for a moment, he asked his confidant,

"When was the last Great Destruction again? What was that race called?"

"It was a very long time ago. They were a race that called themselves 'Odega.'" The confidant respectfully answered the Lord of Servants' question.

"Oh, I remember now." The Lord of Servants immediately came to a realization and nodded repeatedly. His sealed memories were unlocked, and memories from hundreds of thousands of years ago told him the entire course of the previous race's destruction.
