A vast scale was shifting. Unpredictable, terrifying power—might comparable to that possessed only by gods in myths and legends—leaked negative matter from conduits constructed within closed-loop spacetime, spreading at displacement speeds faster than light.
This was not movement. Spacetime itself was stretching. The spacetime expansion effect caused by concentrated negative matter pushed everything around it—including negative matter of the same kind—away along with spacetime itself at superluminal speed.
This displacement would diminish in reverse as the distance from the negative matter increased. The superluminal speed would gradually drop below light speed, and as its density thinned, the universal repulsion field would likewise weaken until it ultimately approached zero.
The leaked negative matter would not combine into black holes with negative mass. It would merely form nebula-like celestial structures through mutual repulsion. During that process, the negative mass would flood through and erase all mass in its path like a deluge.
All the spacetime pillars were undergoing similar disturbances. The entire experimental zone would eventually become a space saturated with negative mass. The Correction Mechanism intended to annihilate all of Amoeba with negative mass, along with the other matter outside the galactic core.
The method could not be called anything but ruthless and decisive.
But... it had failed to account for two factors that had already slipped through the cracks of its strategy to destroy Amoeba...
