Tragic Cell

"What's wrong? Don't recognize me anymore?" Ye Bai's voice reached Android 18's ears again.

"Were you watching from the sidelines the whole time?" Android 18 turned around and asked.

"Well, you guessed it. Android 16 told you to run, so why didn't you? See? Android 17 got absorbed," Ye Bai said in a somewhat relaxed tone.

"Things are a little troublesome now. I was planning to leave him for Goku and the others to practice against, but Vegeta still hasn't come out yet. Hey, Cell over there, could you wait a little before making your move? Vegeta should be here soon," Ye Bai called out to Cell in the distance.

"Are you kidding me?! Get out of my way!"

Cell shouted furiously, then charged over at high speed. Ye Bai shoved Android 18 aside and dodged Cell's punch. Cell continued attacking, but no matter how he attacked, Ye Bai was as slippery as an eel—impossible to catch. While dodging, Ye Bai even threw in a punch or two from time to time. The damage was minor, but the humiliation was through the roof.

"You bastard, go die!"

Cell fired an enormous Kamehameha at Ye Bai. Ye Bai instantly teleported to Kame House, walked inside under Krillin's astonished gaze, and poured himself a glass of juice. Cell panted lightly as he stared ahead at the half of the island that had vanished. Seeing nothing left where Ye Bai had been, he could not help bursting into laughter.

"He's dead, right? That bastard insisted on getting himself killed. Then you're next, Android 18." Cell turned to look at Android 18 as he spoke.

Yet the instant he turned around, Ye Bai appeared behind Cell with his juice in hand under Android 18's astonished gaze and patted Cell on the shoulder. Cell turned his head and immediately stumbled backward as though startled by a shock.

"Looking for me? I got a little thirsty, so I went to get some juice." Ye Bai spoke mischievously, raising the cup in his hand as he did.

"Who exactly are you? What kind of technique is that? Why is there absolutely no information about you in my data?" Cold sweat appeared on Cell's forehead as he looked at Ye Bai.

"Me? I'm just an ordinary Earthling. So, have you considered what I said? Vegeta should be here soon. Can't you wait a little longer? It's not like a little while will make any difference," Ye Bai said with a completely serious expression.

"You're stalling for time, aren't you? Hmph, hahaha! I'm going to absorb Android 18 right now. If you have what it takes, come stop me." Having realized it, Cell looked toward Android 18 in the distance and accelerated toward her.

"Hey! Cell, why won't you listen? I'm really going to be unhappy!" Ye Bai shouted.

Seeing that Cell ignored him, Ye Bai instantly unleashed a burst of Super Saiyan power and kicked Cell, who had reached Android 18, flying away. Cell only stopped after crashing through a distant mountain peak.

Ye Bai landed beside Android 18 and looked at her flirtatiously.

"How about you kiss me, and I'll help you get Android 17 out?"

Only then did Android 18 snap out of it. She looked at Ye Bai beside her, who still had that irritatingly smug expression, and said crossly, "You clearly had the strength. Why didn't you get rid of that ugly monster sooner?"

"Well, I told you before, didn't I? He was meant to be an opponent for Goku and the others. I've already made an exception by stepping in. You were the ones who kept thinking I was joking, okay?" Ye Bai defended himself.

Android 18 thought about it and realized she had nothing to say. Was she supposed to blame him for not saving Android 17? He had warned them several times already. Besides, whether he saved them or not was his right—he was not particularly close to either her or Android 17.

"If I don't kiss you, are you not going to save me?" After thinking for a moment, Android 18 raised her head, met Ye Bai's eyes, and asked softly.

"That won't do. If a woman I've taken a liking to gets swallowed into the body of such a disgusting monster, I'd find that a little hard to accept." Ye Bai even shuddered as he spoke.

Android 18 blushed slightly at his blunt words and lowered her head. For some reason, her heartbeat quickened. She quickly rose onto her tiptoes, kissed Ye Bai on his right cheek, then said hurriedly, "All right, go get Android 17 out."

Ye Bai did not move at first. Under Android 18's gaze, he quickly kissed her cheek instead.

"You..."

"What about me? You kissed me once, so I kissed you back once. That's fair, isn't it?" Ye Bai spouted nonsense with a straight face.

After saying that, he looked toward Cell's position and saw him still standing in the distance, watching Ye Bai and Android 18 with a wary expression.

"Fine. It might be a little troublesome to deal with afterward, though." Ye Bai added another sentence, then straightened his expression and walked toward Cell.

"Why did you have to be so disobedient? Now all you can do is pray that you don't die in a moment. I'll try to be as gentle as possible."

As soon as he finished speaking, Ye Bai's aura surged forth. His hair instantly turned gold, and the aura around him became golden flames. His green eyes looked at Cell with a calmness that inspired fear.

Yet the most terrifying thing was his aura. Even the people waiting at Kami's Lookout, along with Vegeta and his son who had just emerged, all turned toward Ye Bai's location in shock.

Cell, standing in front of him, was so frightened that he did not dare move at all. Behind Ye Bai, Android 18 stared at his figure in shock, utterly unable to imagine that someone could be this powerful. Even Android 16 in the distance did not dare activate his energy radar to scan him.

At Kame House in the distance, Piccolo, who had recovered after Ye Bai casually tossed him back, clenched his fists. Before, he had only sensed the brief burst of Ye Bai's aura at Kami's Lookout. It was nowhere near as shocking as this.

"You seem pretty shocked, Cell. Didn't you see my tail too? You knew that turning into a Super Saiyan would increase my strength by a lot, didn't you? So why are you this scared?" Ye Bai said teasingly as he looked at Cell.

Ye Bai slowly walked up to Cell. Under Cell's terrified expression, he extended a hand and gave a light push through the air. Cell felt as though he had been struck by an unstoppable train. He instantly became a tiny black dot and slammed into a distant hillside, only stopping after smashing through several hills in succession.

"Stay here and behave. I'm going over to deal with him," Ye Bai said to Android 18, turning his head. In his Super Saiyan state, his expression looked somewhat cold.

Android 18 nodded blankly. Then Ye Bai appeared before Cell, who had just climbed back to his feet, and looked at him. Under Cell's terrified gaze, Ye Bai drove a fist into his abdomen, as though he intended to punch straight through his body.

After pulling his arm back, Cell dropped to his knees and sprawled on the ground with his mouth wide open. Drool kept spilling out, yet he still did not cough up Android 17. Seeing this, Ye Bai grabbed the carapace on Cell's head and lifted him up, then punched him in the abdomen again.

Cell coughed up a mouthful of purple blood. Ye Bai dodged it, then hit his abdomen again. Seeing that he only coughed blood without spitting anything out, Ye Bai could only keep striking his abdomen.

Only when Cell was lying there like a dead dog did Ye Bai let go and allow him to collapse to the ground. Looking at Cell on the ground, Ye Bai figured the area he was hitting was probably too small.

With that thought, Ye Bai grabbed the gaps in the carapace on Cell's back with both hands and hurled him into the sky. Cell flew off into the distance in an arc. When the angle seemed about right, Ye Bai took a short run forward, leaped up, straightened both legs, and drove them directly into Cell's abdomen as he fell from the sky. Cell was kicked flying again.

Boom

The ground shook, and a massive crater a thousand meters across appeared in the middle of the island. Ye Bai flew over and looked down at Cell in the center of the crater. He was already half-dead, much less capable of coughing up Android 17.
