Namek's Great Elder

Almost as soon as Li Wei and the others arrived, the doors to the Grand Elder's residence slowly opened. Then, a Namekian who looked very much like Piccolo slowly walked out.

"Huh? Y-you're Piccolo?!" Son Goku asked in surprise upon seeing Nail's familiar face.

Nail shook his head. "No, my name is Nail. I am the one who serves the Grand Elder."

"The Grand Elder already knows why you have come. He is deeply grateful that you saved Namek. Please follow me inside." After saying this, Nail turned and entered the house.

Carrying Frieza over his shoulder, Li Wei turned with a smile. "Come on, let's go in."

Son Goku and Nappa both nodded, then followed behind Li Wei into the house.

Once inside, Li Wei and the others saw Namek's Grand Elder, enormous in stature and aged in appearance.

"Messenger of Light, thank you for saving Namek," the Grand Elder said gratefully.

Li Wei smiled and waved a hand. "Upholding justice in the universe is the mission of warriors of light. I merely stopped a meaningless slaughter."

"Grand Elder, I assume you already know why I'm here. Could I trouble you to unlock Goku and Nappa's potential?"

The Grand Elder nodded slightly. "You saved Namek. Unlocking the potential of these two is only a trivial matter. If you wish, I can also allow you to use the Dragon Balls."

Nappa's eyes immediately lit up, and he looked at Li Wei expectantly. But Li Wei merely shook his head and smiled. "Thank you for your kindness, Grand Elder, but the Dragon Balls are useless to me. There's no need."

"Lord Li Wei, those are the Dragon Balls! They're said to grant any wish!" Nappa said anxiously.

Li Wei gave Nappa an indifferent glance, frightening him into immediately shutting his mouth.

"Nappa, you'll go first. Let the Grand Elder unlock your potential," Li Wei said.

"Unlock my potential?" Nappa looked confused.

The Grand Elder nodded faintly. "Saiyan, please come to my side."

Li Wei gave Nappa a look, and Nappa understood. He slowly walked over to the Grand Elder.

The Grand Elder placed a hand atop Nappa's head and used his psychic power to unlock Nappa's potential!

Buzz!!

A flash of light burst from Nappa's body, and immense energy poured out from within him!

Seeing this, Li Wei tapped the air with one finger. A ray of light shot forth, sealing all the aura Nappa had unleashed around his body.

Feeling the sudden surge of power within him, Nappa lowered his head and stared at his hands in disbelief.

His strength had doubled!

"Alright, alright, now isn't the time to enjoy yourself. It's Goku's turn." Li Wei curled a finger, using Ultra Telekinesis to pull Nappa back.

"Goku, you're up," Li Wei reminded him.

Son Goku nodded, then slowly stepped before the Grand Elder with a simple, honest smile. "Hello."

The Grand Elder smiled as well and nodded slightly at Son Goku before placing a hand on his head.

As his psychic power activated, the Grand Elder continuously drew out Son Goku's hidden potential!

Compared to Nappa, whose potential had been unlocked quickly, Son Goku's process clearly took much longer.

A full minute passed.

Only then did the Grand Elder withdraw his hand wearily and say apologetically, "I am deeply sorry. With my current strength, I can only unlock this much of your potential. You will need to cultivate the rest yourself."

At that moment, Son Goku could no longer hear anything outside. Feeling the explosive increase in power within him, his face was full of disbelief!

Nail, standing nearby, froze for a moment. Then his expression changed drastically as he shouted anxiously, "What did you do to the Grand Elder?!"

"Nail!" the Grand Elder called out, stopping him.

Nail turned to the Grand Elder and asked worriedly, "Grand Elder, do you feel unwell anywhere?"

The Grand Elder rebuked him, "Nail, they are important guests of Namek. You must not be rude to our guests."

After reprimanding Nail, the Grand Elder looked at Li Wei again and said gratefully, "Thank you for your help. I feel much better now. Even my lifespan seems to have increased considerably."

Li Wei smiled. "Consider it my return gift for unlocking Goku and Nappa's potential."

"In about four or five days, another Saiyan named Vegeta will come searching for the Dragon Balls. When that happens, I will bring Goku and Nappa to help you deal with this trouble."

"Thank you very much." The Grand Elder nodded gently.

Li Wei turned to Son Goku and Nappa with a smile. "Then let's head back."

"Nappa, your strength has already surpassed Vegeta's. Once we get back, train properly in the gravity room and consolidate your power. When Vegeta comes to Namek, you can beat him up good and let off some steam."

Nappa's eyes lit up at once. He nodded excitedly and said, "Understood, Lord Li Wei!"

"Me too! I want to fight Vegeta too!" Son Goku cut in excitedly.

Li Wei rolled his eyes at Son Goku. "You could kill Vegeta with one slap now. What are you butting in for?"

"But I really want to fight Vegeta!" Son Goku hurriedly said.

"Fine, fine, we'll talk about it later. Let's head back to Earth first," Li Wei said perfunctorily.

"Then, Elder, we'll be leaving. We'll return in a few days."

Li Wei smiled and waved, then took Goku and Nappa and teleported back to Earth.

Not long after Li Wei and the others left, the surviving Frieza Force soldiers on Namek immediately carried the wounded aboard their spaceship and departed Namek at top speed.
