The Time Machine Arrives

Meta Field.

Li Wei, Ikaros, Cumber, and Broly, whom Li Wei had forcibly dragged in, stood atop a mountain peak, watching the two below with anticipation.

Vegeta's eyes blazed as he smiled. "Kakarot, we both know each other inside out, so there's no need to test each other. Let's go all out right away!"

"Okay!"

Son Goku clenched his fist and roared as he transformed directly into Super Saiyan God—Red!

Seeing this, Vegeta sneered. "Kakarot, are you looking down on me? Show me your full strength!"

"Huh? Vegeta!" Son Goku looked at Vegeta in surprise.

Vegeta gave a disdainful smile. "Do you think I can't do what you can? Watch closely!"

"Yaaahhh!!"

Vegeta clenched his fists and threw back his head in an angry roar!

Blue light bloomed from Vegeta's body!

A holy blue pillar of light shot into the sky, and a sacred aura swept across the entire Meta Field!

"This is my new power—Super Saiyan God: Blue Youth Form!" Vegeta pointed his thumb at himself, his face full of pride and smugness.

Seeing this, Son Goku curled his lips into a smile. "Is that so? You've mastered this power too? I only gained control of it after fighting Cumber dozens of times. Vegeta, you really are a genius!"

"Enough nonsense. Show me your full strength!" Vegeta snorted coldly.

"Alright, Vegeta. Watch closely!" Son Goku's expression turned solemn, and the red light in his eyes took on a tint of blue!

"Yaaahhh!!"

An identical blue pillar of light surged into the sky. This one was a full size larger than Vegeta's, and judging by their auras alone, Son Goku was clearly superior.

Seeing this, Vegeta's confident expression darkened as he snarled, "Kakarot, you bastard! You really were holding back when we fought before! I won't forgive you!"

An awkward look flashed across Son Goku's face, but he quickly turned serious. "Vegeta, now isn't the time to talk about that. Didn't you say you wanted to defeat me?"

"That's right. I'm going to defeat you. First I'll beat you, you bastard, then I'll go take down that guy Cumber!" Vegeta snorted.

"Is that so? If you can do it, then go ahead and try!" Son Goku smiled and assumed a fighting stance.

"I'll prove it to you right now!" Vegeta smiled as well and took up his signature stance.

"Come on, Kakarot!"

"I'm coming, Vegeta!"

The two roared and charged at each other, their heavy fists and kicks crashing toward one another!

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Their figures flickered, and visible shockwaves rippled through the air, shattering the surrounding hills and rocks!

The battle raged from day into night.

The two fought for an entire day.

In the end, Son Goku gritted his teeth and threw a punch. His fist, once as fast as lightning, had become painfully slow from severe exhaustion.

Yet even against such a slow punch, Vegeta wanted to block it but lacked the strength!

He used every ounce of strength to raise his arms and defend himself, but Son Goku was one step faster. Before Vegeta could complete the motion, the fist struck his chest and sent him crashing to the ground!

Thud~

Looking at Vegeta lying on the ground, unable to get back up, Son Goku smiled. "I won!"

As soon as the words fell, Son Goku slowly collapsed as well, gasping for breath.

Li Wei had watched the entire battle from beginning to end and had gained a rough estimate of their strength.

"Broly, come fight me!" Cumber said eagerly.

Seeing that Broly still did not react, a glint flashed through Cumber's eyes. He grinned. "Since you won't fight, don't blame me for making the first move!"

Cumber flashed forward and appeared before Broly. A heavy, powerful fist shot toward Broly's face!

Broly slowly opened his eyes from meditation. Green light flashed around him as he tilted his head aside to evade Cumber's punch, then drove a heavy fist into Cumber's abdomen!

"Urgh—!"

Cumber cried out miserably, vomiting a mouthful of blood. His eyes rolled white in an instant!

"Good... good hit..."

Using the last of his strength, Cumber muttered those words before dropping his head and falling asleep.

Looking at the sleeping Cumber, Broly let out a sigh of relief. The world was finally quiet!

Time passed swiftly, and another year went by in the blink of an eye.

Today, Li Wei was out shopping with Ikaros, the two enjoying their sweet date.

Suddenly.

The smile on Li Wei's face froze as he turned to look in a certain direction.

"They've arrived?"

Just then, Li Wei had suddenly sensed a force of time and space descending somewhere on Earth!

Li Wei quietly calculated the timing in his mind and roughly knew who had arrived.

Somewhere on Earth.

A flash of light appeared as a time machine crossed through time and space.

The time machine slowly landed on the ground, and its hatch gradually opened. Two figures then jumped out from the control room.

"Trunks, this doesn't seem to be the future, does it?" Mai asked as she looked around in confusion.

Trunks frowned. "I'm not sure either. Maybe something went wrong with the time machine. According to its display, not only did we fail to return to the future, we actually traveled into the past!"

"This point in time should be when I first came to the past to seek Uncle Goku's help."

"The time machine's energy has been exhausted, so we can't return for now. Let's stay in this timeline for the time being and help Uncle Goku and the others deal with the androids!" Trunks said.
