"Lord Champa," Chen Feng said, still as calm as ever. His voice came from where fist and palm met, carrying a suffocating pressure. Every word was like a heavy hammer crashing down. "I told you, I don't want to be your enemy."
He paused. His black eyes, usually as still and rippless as dead water, suddenly flashed with countless stars in their depths. They slowly turned, reflecting the birth and death of the universe and the threads of its order.
That majesty was something Champa simply could not comprehend. It was like an ancient nebula awakening and spreading outward.
"But if you insist on fighting—" Chen Feng's arm suddenly exerted force. The movement was clean and decisive, without the slightest flourish. It was a "throw" in its purest, most extreme form.
"Then I'll fight you."
With a muffled boom, Champa felt the force on his fist abruptly transform into a violent throwing force.
His entire body lost control, as though he had been struck head-on by the shockwave of a supernova explosion. He became a purple meteor and was hurled backward!
The speed was absurdly fast—so fast that even his consciousness blurred. All he could see was the starry sky stretching into brilliant ribbons of light.
He slammed into an icy asteroid. Upon impact, the ice world instantly exploded into countless fragments, lit dreamily by the light of a distant star before the energy storm around his body vaporized them completely.
Then came a second asteroid, rich in metal. The instant he collided with it, it erupted with sunlight-like flames. Its entire structure shattered, turning into a brief yet dazzling rain of molten metal.
Champa's body rampaged through the corridors of space, smashing through everything in his path. Every collision lit up a patch of the starry sky, like cruel fireworks offered to destruction, blooming bleakly yet brilliantly in the dark void.
The first asteroid was roughly fifty meters in diameter. Chen Feng's fist merely swept past it, and the celestial body silently turned to dust. Rock fragments scattered like stardust, reflecting the faint light of distant stars.
The second was two hundred meters in diameter, its surface covered in thick ice and impact craters. An invisible force struck it head-on. It first caved in, then exploded from the core—not slowly crumbling apart, but instantly becoming tens of millions of burning fragments like a bomb had gone off. They scattered in every direction, dragging crimson trails behind them like brief, merciless fireworks.
The third was eight hundred meters in diameter, an ancient celestial body composed of metal and rock.
Chen Feng merely brushed past it without directly colliding, but the wind of his fist, carrying immense power, smashed into its surface.
In an instant, a crater one hundred meters across appeared out of nowhere. The rock around its rim melted and churned, exposing a dark-red, blazing core.
Cracks rapidly spread outward from the crater like a spiderweb.
A deep rumble came from inside the celestial body. Its innermost depths began to collapse and disintegrate, finally turning into a slowly expanding cloud of rubble.
Champa tried to steady himself in the void, wildly flailing his arms as his fingers futilely grasped at the vacuum, as if trying to seize some nonexistent point of support.
But the lingering force of Chen Feng's strike was like a cosmic torrent, continuing to drive him backward.
There was no air resistance here, nor any friction from the ground. Only endless darkness and silence enveloped him as inertia ruled his trajectory.
Like a thrown stone, he streaked across thousands of kilometers before finally entering the gravitational field of a giant planet.
The planet was dark brown, its surface wrapped in violent cyclones like a slumbering giant eye.
Gravity seized him like an invisible hand. His speed slowed slightly, but his direction changed, and he plunged straight toward one of the planet's gray-white moons.
Boom!
His back smashed viciously into the moon's surface, blasting out a crater nearly a thousand meters wide.
At the moment of impact, dust and rocks shot skyward, then floated and spread strangely through the vacuum like a gray flower suddenly blooming.
Champa's body was embedded deep in the rock layer, with cracks radiating outward around him.
He let out a low groan and coughed up a mouthful of thick purple blood.
The blood drifted in the weightlessness, condensing into crystalline purple beads that floated above the crater and reflected the planet's dim light.
He lay at the bottom of the crater, his chest heaving violently. Every breath tugged at bones that felt ready to shatter.
Shock filled the depths of his purple eyes at first, only to be swallowed by raging fury—the wrath of a god, one that would never tolerate desecration.
But Chen Feng did not give him even a second to catch his breath.
The instant Champa struggled to rise, the space where Chen Feng had originally stood rippled faintly, and his figure had already vanished without a trace.
There was no sound of air being torn, no trace of movement. It was as though he had been directly erased, only to reappear directly above Champa in the next nanosecond.
Chen Feng looked down at the bottom of the crater, his figure resembling a deity descending beneath the moon's pale sky.
He raised his right foot. The movement was simple to the extreme as he stepped downward.
It looked slow, but was actually as swift as lightning.
Before his sole even fell, a layer of faint silver radiance had begun to gather and flow. It was the power of Ultra Instinct at its pinnacle—pure and ethereal, yet enough to make space itself tremble.
Wherever the silver light passed, even the fine dust on the moon's surface was pushed away, forming a perfect circle of invisible ripples.
Champa only felt the sky above him darken as a terrifying pressure enveloped his entire body.
He roared and instinctively crossed his arms before his chest to block. His muscles bulged as purple God of Destruction power surged madly into his arms, forming a thick energy shield.
Yet Chen Feng's foot still came down.
At the instant of contact, there was no earth-shaking bang, only the utterly muffled sound of energy erupting.
Silver light and purple radiance collided violently, bursting into blinding incandescent brilliance.
The shield around Champa's arms shattered like glass, and the foot wreathed in silver radiance stomped solidly onto the point where his arms crossed.
BOOM—!!!
Champa's body became a blurred streak of purple light as he was nailed out from the bottom of the crater.
He smashed through the crater's edge and tore through rock layers, gouging a massive trench dozens of kilometers long across the moon's surface. Soil and rock rolled up like ocean waves.
His momentum did not diminish in the slightest. He tore through the atmosphere, so thin it was nearly nonexistent, and continued shooting toward the space beyond the planet with a cluster of dark-red flames, drawing a bleak line across the pitch-black curtain.
Chen Feng's figure followed close behind.
He was not flying so much as gliding smoothly through space. Each step carried him across immense distances as he relentlessly pursued Champa, his silver hair drifting faintly backward even in the vacuum. His calm eyes remained locked on the "humanoid cannonball" ahead.
While speeding away, Champa forcibly twisted around to face Chen Feng, his face contorted with rage and humiliation.
He slammed his arms together, and destructive energy frantically gathered and compressed between his palms, instantly forming two enormous purple energy spheres more than a hundred meters in diameter.
Dark-purple energy flowed and boiled over the spheres like lava, while countless tiny black lightning bolts danced and burst across their surfaces. They radiated an aura of destruction so chilling it seemed to freeze the soul, and even the surrounding space warped slightly under the extreme concentration of energy.
"Die for me!!!"
Champa roared, his divine power shaking space as he thrust both palms forward with all his strength.
The two gigantic energy spheres did not attack in a straight line. Instead, they traced deadly arcs from the left and right, sealing off every route of escape for Chen Feng as they came crashing in with the force to pulverize stars.
Chen Feng could not even be bothered to spare the two energy blasts—powerful enough to destroy a small planet—a proper glance.
Without slowing his charge, he merely raised his right hand and swept it sideways, his fingers held together like a blade.
The movement was utterly casual.
A silver arc, thin as a cicada's wing and bright as autumn water, flew from his hand.
The arc made no sound, yet its sharpness was beyond imagination, as though it could slice apart the laws themselves.
It drifted lightly through the void, crossing paths with the two violent purple energy spheres.
There was no earth-shattering explosion—only a brief moment of stillness.
