She is persistent, competitive, and strongly attracted to the benefits of serving Indra. After being dismissed, she returns through another disguise; later, she promises to nurture his staff better than Marcarita. Her affection for her brothers contrasts with her impatience toward mortals. At Kami's Lookout, she introduces herself as Galactic Patrol officer Ba'er. Her knowledge of Jaco's connection to Bulma's family helps establish the disguise. Indra's suspicion grows until the written name on her proposed guard contract leads him to recognize her as Universe 6's angel 68 74.

Vados reveals that becoming Grand Zeno's guard would remove the restriction on excessive Angel Power. Indra declines to finalize the appointment, but lets her demonstrate her qualifications against the restored Perfect Cell, whom she defeats with a shot and a kick 75 76.

Guard Candidacy and the Android Disguise

After receiving priority consideration rather than a confirmed position, Vados returns to find Broly competing for the same role. Indra insists that both are candidates and dismisses her objections to including a mortal 78 79 82.

Whis proposes that they approach him as Androids 18 and 17. Vados relocates Android 18 and Android 16 to Beerus's planet and takes Android 18's likeness. Appointment as Indra's Attendant

Seven years after their earlier encounters, Indra offers Vados True God Realm payments to nurture a staff. She consults the Grand Priest about Indra's identity, receives an ambiguous answer, and decides to pursue the attendant position. Following a trial period, Indra officially appoints her 137.

Her departure leaves Champa unaware of her new role. He initially assumes she is merely out having fun, then becomes anxious when she remains absent for two months 137.

Bulma's Birthday and Beerus

Vados personally delivers invitations to Bulma's yacht party, telling the guests to use her real name rather than Officer Ba'er. At the celebration, she enjoys Earth's food while serving as Indra's guard 143 144 145.

When Beerus turns violent, she protects Bulma and directs his attention toward Goku's Super Saiyan God form. After Beerus defeats Goku and renews his threat against Earth, Vados steps forward with Indra's permission and knocks him unconscious in a single exchange 147 149.

Universe 6–Universe 7 Tournament

Vados initially refuses to fight against her former universe, but accepts after Indra gives her 100 True God Realm points. Although the tournament first proceeds with the Saiyans representing Universe 7, Champa later demands a one-against-five rematch 152 153 158 165.

Frost has already been killed, so Fuwa brings Caulifla as the replacement contestant. Vados defeats Caulifla, Hit, Botamo, Magetta, and Cabba together. Champa finally recognizes her, and she states plainly that she is no longer Universe 6's angel but Indra's attendant 165 166.

Despite the break in allegiance, she tries to warn Champa when he provokes Indra. After Broly is selected to succeed him, she accepts the change as an opportunity for fresh leadership in Universe 6 163 167 168.

Vados remains alongside Indra and Marcarita during later investigations involving Fu, Zamasu, and alternate timelines. She questions Zamasu's choice to exchange his divine body for Goku's Saiyan body and accompanies Indra into another timeline 191 196 201.
