Kurama Neon was also quite surprised. No wonder Sakurai Sara had seemed so familiar.

So she was Sakurai Keiwa's older sister.

"Huh? Huh?! Keiwa, you know Neon?" Seeing her younger brother's reaction and Kurama Neon's, Sakurai Sara was utterly stunned.

She couldn't understand how her brother had come to know a wealthy heiress and famous internet celebrity like Neon. It was simply unbelievable!

"Well..."

Sakurai Keiwa scratched his head, unsure how to explain the Desire Grand Prix. It was too dangerous; he didn't want his sister to know about it.

"For certain reasons, Keiwa and I met before. We're quite familiar with each other."

Kurama Neon glanced at Sakurai Keiwa. She understood that he hadn't told his sister about the DGP and didn't want her to know, so she didn't mention the Grand Prix.

"Yeah, that's right."

Sakurai Keiwa hurriedly agreed.

"Ahhh, Keiwa, you never told me something this important! You already knew each other!"

Sakurai Sara patted her brother on the back with both hands, a trace of complaint in her tone.

"Hehe..."

Sakurai Keiwa could only give an awkward laugh and say nothing more. His gaze shifted to Firefly beside them. He recognized her at once as the girl from the last time he had eaten tanuki soba.

He hadn't expected her to be friends with Kurama Neon.

Still, anyone who liked tanuki soba couldn't be a bad person. He shyly smiled and nodded at Firefly as a greeting.

Firefly politely returned the gesture.

She didn't particularly dislike Sakurai Keiwa. Compared to Geats, Buffa, Panda, Sparrow... Sakurai Keiwa was practically like an odd one out who had wandered into a group of idiots.

Though his later double standards toward the Goddess of Creation, as well as kidnapping Tsumuri, who had helped fulfill his wish, did make him somewhat unlikeable.

But he had been forced into it.

For someone who wished for world peace and wanted to save everyone, the people he cared about most were still his family—his older sister.

If nothing had happened to his sister, he wouldn't have fallen that far into darkness.

Thinking of this, Firefly had an idea.

If nothing else, she would at least help him protect his sister. She wouldn't let anything happen to Sakurai Sara!

Just as Firefly was thinking about this, Kurama Neon, who had been talking with Sakurai Sara, suddenly froze. The DGP communicator on her body had begun to vibrate.

Confused, she took out the DGP communicator and looked at the message on it.

It was a message from Desire Grand Prix Operations summoning the participating Riders!

It wasn't just Kurama Neon. Sakurai Keiwa received the message at the same time. He exchanged a glance with Neon, and both of them looked somewhat flustered.

"Um, Sis, something suddenly came up, so I have to leave first. I'll have to trouble you to take these things back."

With that, Sakurai Keiwa put down the bags and hurriedly ran toward the alley around the corner.

"Huh? Keiwa, what happened? Why are you in such a hurry?"

Sakurai Sara couldn't understand his reaction. He was suddenly rushing off.

They had finally run into Neon, too.

"I'll explain when I get back. Please!"

Sakurai Keiwa called out without looking back.

"Honestly."

Sakurai Sara was helpless, but she wasn't angry with her brother. The siblings had a good relationship. Especially after their parents were gone, they could only rely on and support each other.

"Sorry, Sara and Firefly, but something urgent suddenly came up for me too, so I'll be leaving first."

Kurama Neon winked at Firefly, indicating that it was DGP business and couldn't be exposed, then apologized to Sakurai Sara as well.

But this time, I'll be releasing [30] chapters directly tomorrow.

This one is doing a little better than the previous book, and I still hope to keep writing it. Unless I have no other choice, I don't want to rush to an ending.

Last time, there were too few readers following along. It was the first book I published, and I'd never done that poorly before, but I still properly finished the final Sirin arc.

Honestly, books with this kind of subject matter lean more toward an episodic format. I could completely continue adding the current content after my previous books.

There aren't even any free chapters yet.

Enough about that. The outlines for this book's first three arcs are complete, so it definitely won't fall apart or anything.

The later worlds haven't been decided yet. As long as the readership doesn't become too outrageous, I still hope to keep going alongside Star Rail.

The characters are limited to female characters from Honkai: Star Rail. I barely pulled any male ones, so I'm really not familiar with them.

She had no idea why Desire Grand Prix Operations had suddenly summoned them. The Administrator's Driver was clearly already in her hands, so there was no way the Grand Prix could continue.

Unless that original founder of the DGP chose to appear now!

"I'm truly sorry."

Kurama Neon pressed her palms together and apologized to Firefly and Sakurai Sara.

"Huh? Neon-chan has something to do too?"

"But it's okay. If Neon-chan has something to handle, go ahead! Don't worry about me."

"I'll always support you, Neon-chan."

Sakurai Sara did not understand what was going on. Her little brother and Neon-chan both suddenly had things to do, but she did not dwell on it. She simply smiled and cheered Kurama Neon on.

"Thank you!"

After thanking them again, Kurama Neon hurriedly left. Only after finding a place where no one was around did she head to the DGP venue.

Watching Kurama Neon disappear as well, Sakurai Sara finally turned to Firefly with a smile.

"If Firefly-chan doesn't have anything urgent to do next, would you like to come sit at my place? It's not far from here, and I just bought a lot of groceries. But Keiwa had to leave again because of something."

Sakurai Sara had an outgoing personality and showed no awkwardness at all as she generously invited Firefly to her home.

Besides, she really had bought a lot of things—so much that she could barely carry them all.

"Um... I'll pass on dinner, but with so much stuff, it won't be easy for you to carry it alone. I'll help you take it home."

As she spoke, Firefly took the initiative to carry several bags.

"Thank you so much, Firefly-chan."

Sakurai Sara hurriedly thanked her.

Just as expected of little Neon's friend—she was beautiful and kind-hearted too.

Picking up the remaining things, Sakurai Sara led Firefly toward her home. Just as she had said, the Sakurai residence was not far from here.

When Firefly and Kurama Neon had been evading those bodyguards earlier, they had unknowingly run all the way here.

After washing her hands, Sakurai Sara took out a cup and asked Firefly.

"Coffee."

Hearing that, Sakurai Sara quickly found some coffee, prepared it, and set it before Firefly. Most homes kept some on hand for guests, though she usually did not have many friends over, so she had not prepared much.

Once she brought over the coffee, Sakurai Sara went to the kitchen and cut up a plate of the pineapple and melon she had just bought.

"Miss Sara, you don't have to be so polite."

Faced with Sakurai Sara's enthusiasm, Firefly felt a little embarrassed. She had not really done much—only helped carry a few things.

Aside from inexpensive oranges, other fruits were very expensive in Japan.
