Background / History

Firefly is a person from another world who unexpectedly transmigrated into the Kamen Rider Geats world in the form of Firefly. Though she admired the original Firefly, she resented being forced into transmigration without consent. She soon discovers that the world is a Desire Grand Prix program world used as entertainment by people from the future. 1 2

The body and identity she inherits are tied to the Stellaron Hunters. Firefly was originally born as a weapon, lost her homeland, and joined the Stellaron Hunters after being found by Elio. She suffers from Entropy Loss Syndrome, a genetic-modification-induced condition that gradually dissociates the victim's physical structure; however, the condition does not affect her in the Geats world. 2

Her system offers powers and items from her original setting. Its core condition is to completely alter or destroy the Desire Grand Prix, while its ultimate reward promises her the opportunity to customize an Aeon after clearing seven worlds. 2

Appearance

Firefly is a petite silver-haired girl whose delicate appearance sharply contrasts with her destructive combat identity. Her beauty is frequently compared to that of a manga or comic-book character brought into reality. 1 25 46

  • Long silver hair with softly curled, shimmering dyed-looking tips. 25
  • Large, bright eyes described as star-like. 25 46
  • Fair skin, a petite build, and an elegant bearing. 1 25
  • Commonly wears a flowing white dress with blue-and-black accents, bows, and lace. 25
  • Transforms into the heavily armored Firefly Type-IV Strategic Assault Armor as Sam. 4
  • Sam's armor is silver-white with gold accents and a futuristic mechanical design; flames vent from its chest during activation. 4

Personality

Firefly is initially unsettled by her new identity and hostile toward the circumstances of her transmigration, but she quickly becomes focused on using the system to grow stronger and clear worlds. She is resource-conscious, willing to save points or prioritize useful draws, and treats information and powerful artifacts as tools for reaching her objective. 2 3 37 38

Her relationship with combat is conflicted. As Sam, she finds intense exhilaration in overwhelming enemies and destroying Jyamato, yet she understands the devastation her power can cause. She deliberately draws Kiroli away from civilians and avoids using her highest-output attacks in populated areas. 5 32 33

Outside armor, Firefly can be socially anxious and inexperienced with ordinary life, including money and lodging. She struggles with the idea of resorting to crime to survive, thanks Herta even though she is a puppet, and awkwardly introduces herself during Neon's livestream. 10 11 41 46

She is protective toward people she accepts as friends, particularly Neon, Keiwa, and Sara. At the same time, she keeps Sam's identity concealed and is willing to accelerate conflict within the Desire Grand Prix by giving Ace carefully selected information about his mother. 5 21 37

Abilities & Skills

Path of Destruction

Firefly continuously exchanges system points for the power of the Path of Destruction, strengthening both her armored and untransformed combat ability.

  • Defeats ordinary Jyamato barehanded before transforming. 4
  • Eventually overpowers ordinary Jyamato and Kamen Rider contestants without Sam armor. 50
  • Uses the Path's power to match and surpass Kamen Rider Gazer while in GlareN form. 40
  • Her power greatly amplifies physical strikes, speed, and destructive output. 40 50
  • Large-scale output is dangerous to surroundings, limiting its safe use in cities. 33

Firefly Type-IV Strategic Assault Armor

Firefly's primary combat form is Sam, the Firefly Type-IV Strategic Assault Armor originally created for warfare against the Swarm Disaster. 33 51

  • Provides overwhelming strength, speed, flight, and durability. 4 5
  • Can eliminate groups of Jyamato with high-temperature kicks and explosive impacts. 5
  • Easily withstands attacks from Zombie Strike and Command Form Cannon Mode. 8 21
  • Defeats Kamen Rider Glare and destroys an island and surrounding sea through high-output attacks. 32 33
  • Its immense heat can vaporize seawater and kill surrounding marine life, making Firefly reluctant to deploy it near civilians. 33

Molten Core Engine

Sam's Molten Core Engine is a high-output system used for heat-based finishing attacks.

  • Activates during her battle with Kamen Rider Glare. 33
  • Enables the island-destroying Scorched Earth Operation. 33
  • Produces extreme temperatures capable of vaporizing massive waves into superheated mist. 33

Kamen Rider GlareN

Using the stolen Vision Driver and Herta-modified Providence Card, Firefly can transform into Kamen Rider GlareN. 38

  • Uses customized transformation data suited to her rather than Kiroli's original configuration. 38
  • Retains access to the Vision Driver's administrator functions and control systems. 35 38
  • Matches Kamen Rider Gazer in direct combat despite Gazer's superior administrative rank. 40
  • Is regarded by Firefly as a useful secondary form rather than a replacement for Sam. 38

Combat Skill

Even without armor, Firefly possesses substantial combat instincts, swordsmanship, and close-quarters ability.

  • Fights Jyamato with bare hands to test her baseline strength. 4
  • Uses two light swords resembling ice crystals while exploring the Jyamato Garden. 50
  • Rapidly defeats a transformed Rider with kicks and punches while untransformed. 50
  • Uses force precisely enough to protect civilians while incapacitating threats. 5 32
