Background / History

Kurama Neon is the only child of Kurama Kosei and Kurama Irumi, born into the immensely wealthy Kurama Conglomerate. Despite her privileged life, her mother's overbearing control and constant bodyguard surveillance leave her feeling suffocated; repeated attempts to run away had failed because of hidden trackers. Her first successful escape occurs when Firefly misdirects the bodyguards pursuing her 1.

Neon's wish for freedom is tied to her search for “true love”: not merely romance, but someone who genuinely loves and accepts her. Although she does not yet know that she was created as a replacement for Kurama Akari, she senses that something about her parents' affection is incomplete 14 42.
