Personality

Tang San is imperious, arrogant, and accustomed to judging others from a position of overwhelming authority. He initially regards Yu Wuyi as an “anomaly,” assumes his superiority will secure victory, and reacts with hostility when Yu Wuyi refuses to submit 79 80.

He prioritizes resistance against higher-plane invaders over the survival of Douluo Continent's population. When pressed about the collapse of the continent and the deaths of its people, he calls them an “unavoidable sacrifice” 80.

Tang San notices Yu Wuyi after the latter defeats Crimson King. His hostile surveillance is blocked by a system-granted rule, but Tang San prepares to descend in spiritual form after losing track of his target 22.

Interference at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well

Tang San uses a trace of divine power to interfere with the environment around the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, causing the Jade-Scaled Seven-Absolute Flower to evolve into the Jade Phosphorus Nine Absolute Flower 27.

Spiritual Descent and Defeat

Tang San descends on Sea God Island to confront Yu Wuyi amid the emergence of planar bridges from multiple higher planes. He accuses Yu Wuyi of colluding with foreign enemies, but Yu Wuyi easily restrains him and challenges his willingness to sacrifice Douluo Continent's inhabitants 79 80.

After Tang San declares the continent's destruction and its people's deaths to be unavoidable sacrifices, Yu Wuyi destroys his mental body and sends him back to the God Realm 80 81.

Death as the Asura God

Tang San later returns in his true body with gods from the God Realm, intending to protect Douluo Star from the invading planes. He confronts Yu Wuyi at Immortal Cloud Palace, but Yu Wuyi destroys the Asura Sword with a touch and kills Tang San immediately afterward. The remaining gods retreat 97.
