Spirit Hall operates a major branch in Heaven Dou City, where it conducts spirit awakening ceremonies. Its main hall is an ornate, cathedral-like building, and orphanage children are given a separate passage for the ceremony. Spirit Hall personnel guide the awakenings, test innate soul power, and identify prospective soul masters. 1 2

The organization distributes soul coins to low-ranking soul masters and provides free martial soul awakenings. These practices give it extensive records on soul masters across the continent, including many from remote regions where membership is not compulsory. 2 28

When Yun Chen awakened the Golden-Haired Lion Mastiff martial soul and demonstrated innate full soul power, Heaven Dou branch Platinum Bishop Salas immediately attempted to recruit him. He offered Spirit Hall cultivation resources and promised a Title Douluo-level teacher, but Qian Renxue—operating publicly as Crown Prince Xue Qinghe—recruited Yun Chen first and removed him from the branch. 2 3 4

Qian Renxue later revealed to Yun Chen that she was from Spirit Hall and was carrying out an undercover mission within the Heaven Dou Empire. She offered him the choice of returning to Spirit Hall or remaining in the empire to work with her. 12
