Background / History

Lin Mo, an Earth man with full memories of the Dragon Ball plot, awakens as four-year-old Son Gohan shortly before Raditz's arrival. Knowing the disasters ahead, he resolves to alter the timeline rather than follow it. His first attempts to wield Gohan's latent ki cause accidental destruction, revealing power far beyond his control 1.

Unable to persuade Goku to take Raditz seriously, Gohan forms a secret training arrangement with him. Within a month, he learns basic ki control, the Kamehameha, and Flight, while deliberately hiding part of his power from his father 2 3.
