"Dende, wait for me."
Son Gohan turned and ran into the house.
A moment later, he came back out carrying a large fishing net. He stowed it in his Internal Space, then beckoned to Dende.
"Let's go."
The two left the house and flew toward the back mountains of Mount Paozu.
A stream lay hidden in the mountains, its water crystal clear, fed by melted snow.
Son Gohan landed beside the stream, rolled up his pant legs, and jumped into the water with a splash.
Water sprayed everywhere, and the stream's icy chill engulfed him.
A school of large fish drifted lazily along the riverbed, every one of them plump and well-fed.
Son Gohan picked up the net, held his breath, and flicked his wrist—
The net plunged into the water, then was yanked back up.
Seven or eight large fish thrashed inside the net, the smallest weighing over twenty pounds. Their tails sent droplets flying everywhere.
He tossed the fish onto the bank and cast the net into the water again.
After several casts, the fish on the bank had piled into a heap—at least several dozen of them.
Son Gohan climbed back onto the shore, stored all the fish in his Internal Space, and nodded at Dende.
"Let's go."
Dende had been left utterly dumbfounded. Only after snapping out of it did he hurriedly nod.
Their auras flared, and they flew toward Korin Tower.
Korin Tower was still the same as ever.
The towering stone pillar pierced the clouds, its temple standing silently above them.
Son Gohan landed at the edge and saw Korin leaning on his wooden staff, squatting nearby and basking in the sun.
"Korin, long time no see." Son Gohan walked over.
Korin narrowed his eyes and turned his head, his whiskers twitching. "Oh, it's
