The reunion between the Autobots and the Americans was clearly not a pleasant one.
The Pentagon quickly learned of the Autobots' arrival on the battlefield. Quite a few senior officials and hawkish generals who still remembered the Autobots' destructive rampage across the United States clamored for an attack on them.
Clearly, the long-standing sense of unrivaled supremacy since the end of the Cold War, coupled with the growing prevalence of "anti-intellectualism" in recent years, had begun to deeply affect America's upper ranks.
However, the Pentagon was no ordinary place, and it was not filled entirely with anti-intellectual officials and hawkish generals.
"Just as Optimus Prime said, that strange wave of incoming missiles should have been launched from outer space. We suffered virtually no losses, but those routed Cemetery Wind soldiers should have been completely wiped out!"

With the resolution passed, a transport plane soon carried several U.S. military generals and officials toward Sewell, thousands of kilometers away.
They needed to reach some kind of understanding with the Autobots—for instance, ensuring that
