Emperor Maximo's sealed laboratory undoubtedly had a profound impact on the Mars Base.

Although the presence of the Shadow Guard meant they could not yet fully unseal this ancient laboratory, which had been sealed away for an unknown number of years, some resources had nevertheless begun to be diverted there at Sun Cheng's personal request.

Sun Cheng personally remained stationed at the laboratory for over half a month, until the enormous underground space had mostly been cleared out, the Decepticons had established a foothold, and they had begun using it as a starting point to collect and attempt to uncover more technology from the remnants that had been frozen for over ten thousand years—technology from the ancient Cybertronian civilization.

Only when everything had begun to get on track did he leave the laboratory.

As the most important fighting force of his faction, Sun Cheng could not remain away from Earth for too long.

As its name suggested, a spaceport was a harbor for docking spacecraft.

Decepticon engineers had begun crushing rocks and reinforcing the ground there long ago. The spacecraft that later flew from Earth to Mars had all docked here as well.

The last time Sun Cheng arrived at the spaceport, he had not inspected it closely.

This time, having come specifically to inspect it, he truly saw a great deal.
