"It couldn't be the Nemesis!"
Sun Cheng shook his head, rejecting Frenzy's speculation.
"I remember Soundwave mentioning that the Nemesis is currently on the Moon. Some of its systems appear to have been damaged, and it has temporarily lost the ability to take off."
He had read Megatron's memories, but Megatron's memories contained no record of this.
Instead, Soundwave's memories clearly stated that the Nemesis was currently on the Moon, where Starscream was using it as a base.
It was impossible for Starscream to repair the Nemesis. Only Megatron possessed the highest authority over that ship's central command intelligence.
Even Shockwave, who had created it, possessed lower authority than Megatron.
Thus, Starscream would never do something so thankless as spending his own resources to repair a warship comparable to a military fortress for Megatron.
The conference room immediately fell silent again. Pioneer, who had just returned from Trindade Island to attend the Supreme Military Council's second military conference for the first time, suddenly asked, "Commander, could this ship have come from the Quintessa Civilization?"
The moment those words were spoken, the conference room erupted in commotion.
Sun Cheng had actually considered the same possibility, but he could not be certain.
The Quintessa Civilization had arisen earlier than Cybertronian civilization. Moreover, the memories of the Decepticons and Autobots he had previously read contained only scattered fragments of information about it, so his understanding was naturally limited.
During the Battle of Cairo, they had obtained several relatively intact Quintesson soldier corpses.
However, those artificially created Quintesson soldiers, even more fanatical than the Decepticon Corps' cannon-fodder Replica Soldiers, possessed no reason whatsoever.
Sun Cheng and the others had managed to sort out some information, but the residual memory data in those Quintesson corpses was far too chaotic. Most of it was completely indecipherable.
