Natsume Ruri could not help asking Aunt Miyuki.
"Is this true?"
Kondo Miyuki's face turned slightly red as she slowly recalled the past.
"As for liking him, I suppose you couldn't really call it that, but longing for him? Well, maybe a little bit."
"Back then, Senior was actually quite impressive. There were quite a few girls in school who liked him, so I had plenty of admiration for him at the time."
Mido Manatsu had a rather strange expression on her face and muttered, "Was it really just admiration? Could it be that I was the only one who confessed back then? Did you really never confess?"
"I really didn't. How many times do I have to say it?" Kondo Miyuki's face carried a hint of grievance as she muttered to herself.
"So that's how it was, alright then--" As she spoke, Mido Manatsu also gulped down large amounts of alcohol.
Natsume Ruri was very interested in stories about the past.
"So, two aunts, what was Dad like at school back then?"
"He couldn't possibly be like big brother Chikage is now, right?"
Mido Manatsu couldn't help laughing and joking, "How is that possible? When has your dad ever been as amazing as Chikage is now?"
Kondo Miyuki covered her mouth and smiled. "Chikage nowadays is much stronger than your dad ever was back then. At the time, your dad was at best a school-thrub level heartthrob, while Chikage is extremely popular with girls all across Japan. There's just no comparison."
Kaga Resaki said in surprise, "So that's how it is. Looking at it that way, big brother Chikage really is on a more outrageous level."
"That's right," Natsume Ruri agreed heartily. "After all, he gets so many love letters they can fill up an entire locker."
