Then the memories from before he lost consciousness surfaced in his heavy, sluggish mind.

Harry clutched his scar and groaned.

"Harry!"

The sound from Harry abruptly cut off the quiet argument nearby. Before long, through his blurred vision, he saw his two friends come over and look at him with concern.

"How do you feel? Did the Killing Curse affect you again? Did you sense anything?"

Ron fired off a string of questions.

Hermione couldn't help snapping at him. "Enough, Ronald. Can you be quiet for a moment and let him rest? Harry, would you like something to drink? I made hot chocolate."

High-energy sweets could effectively ease a wizard's negative symptoms.

The trio had learned that last year, though they hadn't understood why at the time. Now, of course, they all knew that those negative symptoms were actually caused by a lack of energy in the body, especially in its magic protein, which in turn affected the entire body and brain. Ron glanced at Hermione. She rolled her eyes, not bothering to respond, so he could only scratch his cheek awkwardly. "We were discussing the conversation we overheard in the Forbidden
