"What do you want to do?"
At a time like this, the strengths of Ron's character shone through.
Once Harry had persuaded him, he stopped agonizing or hesitating. His mindset shifted in an instant, and he was ready to join his best friend and take action.
"We need more help!" Harry clearly already had a plan.
Back when Harry had studied Occlumency under Vaughn, he had also learned something else: plenty of things required thorough preparation, rather than simply charging in on a rush of adrenaline.
Vaughn had deliberately cultivated that habit, and Dumbledore had noticed it too. Harry himself, however, remained unaware of this subtle growth.
"Hermione!" Ron immediately thought of the last member of the Iron Triangle.
Harry shook his head. "Not just her. We need more people!"
They would be facing a group of Death Eaters-Dark Wizards, lunatics who served Voldemort. Three young wizards alone were clearly nowhere near enough.
Although Hermione had always earned excellent marks, especially in Potions and Charms, and had learned plenty of jinxes from Vaughn, Harry had a clear understanding of his own abilities.
He and Ron were nowhere near Hermione's level. "You find Hermione. I'll find Hagrid. He'll definitely be willing to help!"
Harry had not slept all night after regaining consciousness. He had spent the hours turning plans for dealing with the Death Eaters over in his head, so his thoughts were very clear now.
The two left the Gryffindor Common Room and split up. Ron headed straight for the library.
Classes had not started yet, and Hermione had been spending all her time in the library lately. Ron thought he was more likely to find her there than in the girls' dormitory.
For Ron, this was an incredibly daunting task. He had to explain why he and Harry had
