• Vaughn entered the Chamber, concealed his visit to Nagini, freed Peeves from the Diary’s influence, healed Harry, and sent the students and Sirius out before facing Voldemort.
• Vaughn and Voldemort fought until Voldemort escaped as black mist, and Dumbledore rescued the injured Vaughn and later explained the events to him.
