One hour later.
With his hands in specially made handcuffs, Frank was locked inside a special room.
The room was covered in specially tempered glass, enough to ensure the interrogator's safety.
Standing outside the room, Nick Fury's voice carried no emotion through the glass.
"Frank, what exactly happened during the twelve days you were missing?"
"."
"And what's going on with your body now?"
"."
"Why was the Killing Stone Fragment inside your heart?"
"."
"Don't tell me you became a vampire willingly?"
"."
With a bitter laugh, Frank finally raised his head and said, "Fine. Here's what happened."
He told Nick Fury everything in detail: how he had met Muzan Kibutsuji, how he had fought him, been imprisoned by him, and even been experimented on.
There was no need to keep any of this information hidden. If he wanted to deal with Muzan Kibutsuji, he needed S.H.I.E.L.D.'s strength.
Nick Fury calmly listened to Frank's account, his face not changing in the slightest. After Frank finished, he asked several more times about specific details, then suddenly pulled a small knife from his person.
He stared at Frank's face and slowly cut a bloody line across his right palm with the knife. As blood flowed out, Nick Fury slammed his bloodied palm hard against the glass in front of him.
"Tell me, Frank. Right now... do you want to drink my blood?"
Frank met Nick Fury's gaze firmly, without even a trace of thirst for blood on his face. Dressed in a white hospital gown, he did not move an inch.
"Nick Fury, if you want to test me, you'd better send in a couple of blond babes!"
Good. He could still make bad jokes. It seemed there was nothing wrong with his reason.
Nick Fury nodded as if confirming it.
