Background / History

Frank operated independently before joining Matt Murdock, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Chun-Li against Baroque and Shadaloo. His underworld connections provided the group with evidence that Baroque had single-handedly massacred the Irish gang. 25

After the team destroyed a Shadaloo hideout, Frank joined the newly named Defenders while insisting that his own “business” would keep him from remaining with the group full-time. 30

During the assault on Fire Cloud Evil God's Hand-controlled base, Frank prepared and detonated the explosives that collapsed the building. He correctly judged that no ordinary human could survive, but Fire Cloud Evil God escaped by drawing on the Dragon Bone's power. 47 Frank later attended Elektra's funeral with the Defenders and, much later, Stick's funeral with Matt. 49 122
