"Hey! What about me, Constantine?"
Deadpool scrambled up from the floor, feeling deeply wronged. What the hell? They hadn't seen each other for a while, and Constantine had gone and found someone else behind his back—and didn't even call his name?
"Ahem. Wade, long time no see!"
That resentful look left Constantine speechless, and he hurriedly added a line.
Everyone sat down on the sofa. Tony personally opened several bottles of fine wine worth millions of dollars to entertain Constantine.
They drank and chatted, and Constantine talked about some amusing things at Kamar-Taj.
"The atmosphere there is pretty good. Mages often come to exchange 'experience' with me, and I've benefited a lot from it."
"Right, Li Ang is there too. He's always competing with people, and I have to say, when it comes to the field of peeing, he's invincible."
"I also met someone named Stephen Strange. He has excellent aptitude, and the Ancient One thinks highly of him."
"The Ancient One intended to choose the next Sorcerer Supreme from among the three of us, but I found it too troublesome and wasn't interested."
Constantine blew out a smoke ring, shrugged, and smiled faintly.
That utterly uninterested look was really the height of showing off.
Deadpool bit hard into the lemon in his hand, his mouth going sour.
"For real, Constantine? You're just a rookie, and you can become Sorcerer Supreme?"
"Of course. I'm a genius."
Putting on the face of a top student, Constantine glanced at Deadpool sympathetically.
"Wade, you'll never understand what being a genius feels like."
"..."
With the face of a poor student, Deadpool was extremely unconvinced. He had once been a man who got a B in high school, but before he could speak, Tony cut in.
"I understand that feeling. Come on, cheers."
