Ignoring Jessica's inner conflict, the group pieced things together amid a flurry of discussion and quickly reached a conclusion.

First, the Ireland gang had somehow learned about a shipment Shadaloo was transporting.

But some unknown incident occurred while they were trying to seize the goods, resulting in the appearance of monsters. The Ireland gang was wiped out as a result.

That scene happened to be witnessed by the cowardly Moka Sass.

"I estimate that within three days at most, Baroque will leave New York and disappear without a trace."

Lying in the hospital bed with his leg in a cast, Nick Fury kept a stern face as he flipped through the documents and listened to Agent Melinda May's report.

As for the bed that had originally been to his left, perhaps because sharing a room with Nick Fury had been too awkward, Alexander Pierce had been taken home early by his daughter, who wore a helpless expression.

At the time, Nick Fury had even asked after him with concern.

Perhaps they had left in too much of a hurry, but he had vaguely heard something about "hemorrhoids."
